Umpiring was as usual rubbish. Don't know where they find these fools ?
The younger brigade of Norwood improves weekly. Found another future star in Chippendale.
Bass will most likely be with an AFL side next year ( Carlton is my tip ) but what scares me most is we will again be raped of our junior talent. Fact of life now unfortunately.

Yet the Bulldogs have won eight flags since 2000. I'm a long way away from the modern SANFL but have other SANFL clubs been watching how the Bulldogs go about their business? We seem to be OK with our recruiting in recent seasons and at least in the last few years we have returned to consistent finals action rather than seventh again like we were a few years back.

9 flags, including the year 2000.

Well its about time you supplied some players to the AFL and give the rest of us a chance ;)

Nice try Jim unfortunately inaccurate. A university study was commissioned by the afl (it's on their website). Centrals was in the top 10 of clubs Australia wide in providing players to the afl as a percentage of available teams/ players in their zone. Eagles provided the most, I'm not sure if Norwood were in the top 10. You can also refer to the sanfl benchmark document on the sanfl site, which reveals avenge number of players to choose from. This has been covered before maybe you forgot ;)

You can read into that how you want but i'm sure Jim is referring to us losing players from our club, not from our so called zone. That is quite misleading and in fact how does that impact on a club like it has Norwood the last two years? Anyway a tough grind last night, Port certainly did not give it away at any stage, Norwood just a bit more class in the clinches.Yes I felt we had the better of the umpiring but this time they had no influence on the result. Go you Redlegs!

Here's me thinking Jim meant what he wrote. You can't read too much into it, it is what it is, nothing misleading about it (either the study, or benchmark document). "Our club not from our so called zone", wtf.

Heard today that Mark Dolling and James Meiklejohn (along with Jeremy Clayton) may be heading off to the tribunal during the week for incidents involving dangerous tackles?

See what unfolds as the week progresses?

WE-SLOW took a fair while to get onto it, absolutely useless that mob.
A Norwood supporter was allowed to bring in a golf set and the security didnt even check the golf bag which was full of grog

So Norwood v Central drew a bigger crowd....6353.
Maybe Norwood Port don't have the biggest crowds .....for those of you who think it should always be a Norwood Port GF

Just saying...............

Must be a typo. Obviously the reasons will have to be different to those given the first time Norwood played port earlier in the year.

Enough cherry picking. Port Vs Norwood on a Friday night in inclement weather is clearly a better result for the true, long term heavyweights of this competition.

I would have thought a night game, at THE HOME OF NIGHT FOOTY, between Norwood & Port, would have drawn a larger crowd than it did.
