Good win by Port, simply wanted the ball more all day and,dare I say it, made Centrals look old and slow.

Forward options a plenty and the back half with Beard and Raikiwasa in the key posts held up very well.

Salopek played well too, why'd the Bays not give him a go?

Before play yesterday I had a wish that I could get to a TAB and put $10 on Port, in season 2012
Port beating Centrals at Alberton suddenly seemed to make perfect sense. One of those "unexpected is norm" years IMO.

Think the TAB was "only" paying $3... Still over where I thought we should have been.

Be interesting to see what odds we are Friday night

Couldn't see Port bringing home the chocolates from that assignment.

As they were against the Dogs, Port are due against Norwood .. They are in some top form too, so if they did get up on Friday night I wouldn't be surprised.

Potsy isnt the only bitter Norwood supporter though in fairness.

I think it stems from the fact Norwood for the last 30 odd years have been trying to jump out of Ports Shadow. All of sudden Port start to fail and bang another team pops up and Norwood are left watching another great dynasty with them playing no part.

That being said Port's performance today was as skilled and ferocious as I've seen a SANFL team produce this year. Going to be a ball tearer next Friday night.

Can't believe I'm saying this, agree completely. Dogs still miles ahead of everyone when the finals come around.
