Players just need to get on with it and if they react stupidly then there's no excuse. The 2 holding the ball decisions against Batsanis in front of goal were spot on.

Yes, Bode was unlucky to not get a holding the ball against Thiele but he got what he deserved, just for stupidity alone ... no-one to blame but himself.

The 3rd umpire Slimja has spoken
And its exactly how things happened with those HTB decisions

Ive heard him earlier in the year say we were lucky to win as the other side deserved to win. I think he believes we were the best side today and with a bit of composure infront of the sticks we would have got the win.
Im sure you North fans dont need Bass to tell you that you played well, enjoy your victory.

Well if he thinks Norwood were the best team then so be it - we must have been lucky to hold the lead at every change and win the game at the end!

And Jim05 - we were lucky the first we played you, lucky we didn't lose by 10 goals plus and lots of us North people stated that at the time and no we don't need or expect Bassett to tell us we played well - we did because we won but to say we were lucky is stupid arrogance to be quoted in the press.

Well (I can't believe I'm about to say this), after seeing North up close last week and today on the idiot box, they are starting to look good ... lots to be impressed about. Whilst Jimmy still gets his 100 touches a game, North are not solely relying on him.

I think I'll shoot myself now ...

A couple of guys were really found out and should be dropped for the rest of the season.
The umpiring was disgraceful, they were lucky it wasnt a final.
Both teams used the ball poorly and turned it over repeatedly, North had more poise infront of goals and I would think they will play finals for sure.
Norwood Simply not good enough and apart from a few great grabs by North a pretty ordinary game allround

Well said.

So................will this be the start of Norwood's slow demise? I have watched them & they aren't that good. Will they go down the gurglar like they did last year?

Haha, weren't you guys the Minor Premiers last season? :-k

As the common phrase of "Premierships aren't won in June" goes, neither are they lost ...
