Interesting, thought he was good against the Bays.

Grahaml will be shattered, Kirkby playing state footy and Westy playing ressies

Yeah, no doubt, although I'm sure Westy would rather his 2008 Premiership Medallion over a State jumper ;)

It was only a matter of time until premierships of yesteryear were brought up :?

Yeah, true. Good to see the 2002 Premiership reunion today, hey purch ;)

Anyway, back to the topic at hand - I liked the look of Fraser Evans in defence today for the Double Blues, he looked good down there.

He was off target a few times today (no orphan there for Central) but he is certainly not the worst in the league. The one you talk about was immediately after he was 'slung tackled' so could have been a bit dazed?

His kicking is terrible. The reason he lost his AFL contract.

First noticed this lack of skill Easter Thursday v West, today just confirmed it.

His skill was alright on ANZAC Day, wasn't it? That saif, disposal by foot is one area of his game that needs constant improving...

Silly comment really. Unless we play you guys again at Unley this year (?) it was as close as we could get to a Premiership 10th Anniversary vs Central...got something against that smartypants?

BigPhil's response to your comment is rather predictable too, but I switch over as soon as I hear him on the radio these days...

FWIW, I've never known Doggie's supporters to be that bad over the years, even after their early premierships..but since then, typically when they're losing...and again after standing on the terraces today, the words smugness, arrogance, sore and loser always spring to mind..

Anyway, no Sheedy, no Gum...Centrals were a rabble today..and I loved every minute of it

Ahh, okay, sure. I actually didn't want to attribute to the thread remaining off topic and a couple of posts from myself and others had previously been deleted already purch, hence the reason for the chanege. Anyway, you should enjoy the win, Sturt were clearly the better side and get their season back on track after 5 straight losses.

Changing posts, posts being deleted, changing your stance from barracking to that of a semi unbias one when it suits you. Which hat are you wearing? That of the media Phil or the Centrals Phil, again, looking more like Eddie Maguire without any influence

Posting it in the first place perhaps?

Anyway, back on topic..apart from Boyd and Thomas, Central had no, zero, nadda winners today. That must be a worry...even if you say it's a smaller ground, well...more accurate disposal is required when you play on a smaller oval, everyone knows that. If you look at the names on paper then Centrals should win every day of the week, but it was shown today that they have some big deficiencies. I hope Norwood smash them at the business end if we can't.

8th beats 2nd...love it :D

Central skills were terrible 2 games in a row.
Umpires were a disgrace as usual.
Roy Lairds decision to drop Westhoff but then play Sibenaler at full forward was quite baffling. as well as leaving Haydon on McIntyre all day.
Gummi Bears song still rockin at the Earl.

Best umpiring I've seen all year TBH...and yet you guys won the free kick count somehow, by being second to the ball :?

Far and away the worst umpiring I've seen all year.

Far and away the best performance by the Double Blues I've seen all year.

Proves footy is very much between the ears. (Also handy having the likes of McLeay, Thomson, Riley back on deck). Great to see a four quarter performance. Excellent games by McIntyre, Martin, Riley, Tambling, McLeay, Stevens and Plant. Also a great performance by Fraser "Michael Coad" Evans. It's been an absolute masterstroke moving him into defence.

Dogs looked indecisive and constantly under pressure.

Let's hope that the bye doesn't affect our intensity...
