Round 7 LIVE Scores

Postby Big Phil » Sat May 05, 2012 12:22 pm

Here now at Commander Centre Oval, Unley, for the clash between the Double Blues and Roosters...

A little overcast but other than that, should be perfect conditions for footy, the ground looks in good knick as well...

Will post scores throughout the day from both Reserves (underway now) and the League later this afternoon...

LIVE @ COMMANDER CENTRE - UNLEY

RESERVES:

Quarter Time

North - 0.2 = 2

Double Blues lead by 26 points

GOAL KICKERS:

Sturt - B.Littler 2, J.Wundke, Z.Vitkunas 1

North - Nil

Young Tom Harms from Sturt went down with what looked to be a serious knee injury at the 15 minute mark of the opening term. He was stretchered off but the way he clutched for it immediately and the look on his face made me think it was his ACL?

Here at Richmond Oval, the margin was 33 points in Westies favour at half time. At the 25 minute mark of the 3rd Port had it back to 4 points, before West pushed it out to 17 points at 3qtr time.

Anyone got any u/16s results for Glenelg v Norwood @ Glenelg, and Sturt v North @ Prospect?

BP - maybe a Sturt official will hear from Prospect at some stage?

u/18 games are played afterwards.

I saw her last week and agree she was very very good.
My vote is for promotion to join the other girls currently umpiring at League level....
Seriously I have no issue at all with female umpires. They have never played the game but neither have the male umpires.
