A career to be proud of and glad he was able to end it at a great Club.
His coaching and mentoring of younger players will be a great assett still to the Norwood Football Club. When your time is up its up !
Nathan Eagleton has not left the Norwood Football Club nor spat any dummies. With the depth of young players at Norwood continuing to play in the reserves with nagging injuries seems pointless. Nathan and the Norwood Football Club came to the correct decision.

And was right !

Notice the "Looks like "? I'm sure the commentator was a little concerned after the MMC comments.. Not an easy job deciphering the news out of Norwood.

What's the truth OTR? I'd love to hear your version.

The fact that Nathan is coaching there this year puts paid to any dummy spitting accusations.

I've been a Norwood follower since 1957 and I don't believe that.
I suspect it is a deal combining getting something for the money and saving face for both parties.

Could have went something like this then.....

Nathan: If I have to play reserves to get back then I will retire.

Club: Ok then, how about helping Bass out off the field for the remainder of the season?

Nathan: Yeah I can do that. Do I still get paid then?

My view is based entirely on my own observations of human (and corporate) behaviour over the years.
I don't claim any "inside" information has come my way.

I spoke to someone today, can't say who though, who said you'd say that.

Looks like he'll pocket a bit of cash playing for Happy Valley in the SFL.
