You can't be serious MT. After the weekends result you have to believe the Eagles are a real premiership threat. We have beaten Norwood on both occasions we have played them by an average of 26 points and although beaten by Central on all 3 occasions it has been by an average of 13 points with the biggest margin of 19. I would say the premiership is a genuine race in 3.

Being a superstisious (sic?) b@stard, I'd preferred to of lost 1 of these. We beat Sturt 3 times during the 2002 season, and we know how that ended up.

Coaches Report
Saturday’s effort against the Eagles was arguably our worst performance for the year even considering our previous two poor performances against Centrals earlier in the year. In the first quarter, we started brightly enough and should have been a couple of goals up, but this probably demonstrated our lack of want and willingness to make the opposition pay on the scoreboard. As the quarter progressed, the Eagles started to hunt the footy better in numbers and our defensive pressure both on the ball carrier and our ability to ensure perceived pressure on the opposition all over the ground started to fall away badly.
To end up scoring only 2 goals for the game highlighted our deficiencies in more areas than one. Our forward entries even against Sturt the previous week was an area to improve, but we ended up just playing to the Eagles strengths and our turnovers for the game became our largest statistical winner.
This was a performance which highlighted the gap between the top and bottom clubs at this stage of the year, but has also highlighted the fact that our preparation is not currently up to SANFL standard. A poor and limited pre-season for the senior playing group will only strengthen the Club’s resolve to change and turn this around for next year.
Incredibly we are still 4th on the Premiership Table, the Reserves are still on Top and the Under 18’s have been top for the majority of the season. Our depth is still there in terms of having an exciting group of youngsters and there may well be plenty of changes in the playing personnel for this week and the remainder of the year.
To our supporters, we urge you to stay strong and keep supporting the playing group. We still have an exciting group, which we will continue to unearth and hopefully unleash over the remainder of this yea

The new Bays coach is certainly good at dishing up the excuses. As someone mentioned in the newspaper, he blames everyone but himself. Passing the buck is not a part of senior coaching. It's up to the coach to provide leadership and get them mentally right, not blame everyone but himself.

I was at the Bay that day where they rubbed the 2 point lucky win in our faces. It went a long way toward our mental preparation this week. The boys were so fired up over it. I'm glad it happened now as it put a huge amount of fire in our bellies.

Very pleased with the improved form of Angus Rowntree. Also, second tier players such as Allmond, Raymond, Day, Hall, Lane, Staple, Hoban and Redden have all contributed well at various stages during the past month and this augers well for the short and long term future.
If we are to be a serious threat this year, we need to win all of our remaining three games and go into the finals with a lot of confidence.
Luck is where opportunity meets preparation

Too me.....the Bays need a massive "clean out" like South have done over the last few years. Players that want to be there - stay - otherwise ship out!!

Too many individuals and massive ego's at the Bay at the moment. (That is not just the players either I am refering too!!)
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

LOL, by all means enjoy the victory but please don't try to re-write history ...

... and wouldn't it be real embarrassing if you played the Bays again in the finals and God Forbid, lost 8)

In your faces? Did they sing it in front of the Glenelg fans or in the Torrens changerooms?
