The players didn't sing the club song after the match.

That indicates how serious they thought the Obst injury was!

I have to break my rule here...

If Obst is not a medical professional, does that mean he is a peanut? ;)[/quote]

I'm not 100% sure but isnt he studying to be a Physio or the like?

Obst himself said the knee is gone, as his season.

Unless he's logging on making predictions without actually having it looked at properly he's not what I was referring to. How many people did exactly the same thing during game 3 of the state of origin? Came out saying things like "his season is officially over" before the knee was looked at. Suddenly it emerged it wasn't as bad as feared and he'd quite possibly be back before the finals.

Players not singing a song after a run of the mill win when a guy has gone down with an injury that might be season ending just means they aren't in a mood to celebrate and are worried for his welfare.

No doubt it looked bad, could well be an ACL and season over. But let's just wait for the doc to look at it and confirm before we jump the gun.

Was never in doubt he was going to miss the season. The club physiotheropist new this straight away.

Only the most optimistic could see any other result from the injury.

His already booked in to have the op and will be spending a fair bit of time across the road at the Aquadome over the next few months.

That indicates how serious they thought the Obst injury was!

To me that indicates what Centrals are all about . They have such a team culture as a club ,their supporters demand success as does their coach. All clubs and supporters could learn off them .
