Thanks , I thought you may have come up with something a bit better than that though Deidree . Maybe post a picture , now there is a novel idea for you . Speaking of novel maybe post your thoughts on the game today ,where did Central win it ? Where did the Bays lose it ? You know that kind of stuff. Did you go today ? I heard not many Bay fans went at all , in fact I'm told it was an embarassing turn out from Glenelg fans ?

Good point, South have won more flags, and they won them when the comp was a stronger competition relatively speaking! ;)

There was a patch of Glenelg supporters underneath the grandstand and some lurking in the family friendly outer area but apart from that there wasn't a whole lot there...nothing to be embarrassed about...with Norwood's massive match attendances, they seem to have even less turn up to Elizabeth...

Funniest moments of the match for me were:

1. One goal (or was it the lot?) that Glenelg kicked that resulted in TOTAL silence from everyone in the ground...
2. Toddy Grima's "spoil" on, IIRC, Chad O'Sullivan that resulted in a goal...
3. Ian Callinan's throw that resulted in a Dogs goal at the end of the 3rd quarter...the most obvious throw i've ever seen!!!

I'll add,
1) the out on the full by a bays player not far out from a free kick
2) the point by a bays player from a dubious free directly in front, basically in the goal square
3) when a bays player grubbered a kick along the ground, someone called out "nice kick Trevor chappel"
4) pumpas goal from 60? Into a slight breeze.

Disunity amongst our Glenelg barrackers
The 3rd umpire needs to intervene b4 Dutchy and Bayman , dare I say it, implode with each other

5 DAY BREAKS
You would be deluding yourself if you think a 5 day break does not make some difference some of the time
NW made a mockery of the 5 day break with a dominant 2nd half v SA
GL were mauled by CD
So in one game it did, the other it didnt
WHY

GL played a potential premier, in an away game on the Ponderosa
NW played a potential wooden spooner on Burkes Backyard

Forgetting who played who
It is probably harder to play on a BIG oval compared to a sMALl oval with a 5 day break

MIND GAMES
GL couldnt beat CD on thier own Burkes Backyard earlier this season when they were trounced
This after that folklorish effort by CD who were down to about 9 fit players[it will be down to about 3 in years to come]
They played a really tough game against NW 5 days earlier and then had to face an awesome CD outfit
I say there is a real possibility that GL were a beaten side about 90 seconds after the NW game
