It's what he did for his report and comment piece on the 2007 Elimination final.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Warren walked past me and up to the back of the grandstand at about the 20 minute mark of the last term, in the reserves.

NorMALly the sMALler article that shows up on the AdelaideNow site is usually about half of the full, more detailed article / match review that appears in the paper the next day.

This is written at the bottom of the article linked earlier - READ THE FULL REPORT IN THE ADVERTISER ON MONDAY

A frustrating game to watch with both sides making errors. Until the Eags improve their skill execution and decision making, they will not have comfortable wins (4-5 goals as the north and sturt games should have been and as the stats showed) and struggle to beat central and norwood.

Then when the ball came in he gave the slightest push-off to step back and take the mark. It wasn't big but it was there and I believe the 2 prior shunts would have drawn the umpires attention to his actions. A player of McLeay's experience should not have been surprised by the free. Kurtze also had a good shot at touching the ensuing kick on the goal line but had an air swing (admittedly under pressure).

Spot on Duckman I was also watching from the hill the push was right in front of me .And yes the umpires paid that as a push all day!! umpires were bad towards both teams all day IMHO.
Eagles should have won by 6 goals but bad kicking almost cost them the game.
BUT A WIN IS A WIN !!

I'll admit it wasn't the greatest camera angle, but that match winning free kick was disgraceful. Have seen more psychical contests in basketball not called.

Any other time of the year , no free kick.

But on Sunday there were 3-4 of those paid so no surprise when it was given.

Good goal under pressure by Staple from outside 50 to win the game.

There were a few for hands in the back played , that was just a pathetic decision .

If you are referring to me then you can stick it, coz I live in the country and can only get a few minor round games and the finals.
Can't help it that the three games I've seen this year have all been wins 8)

I would guess 3000 - 3200 , it was better than I thought we would get considering Sturt are not going very well and the Eagles have a small following.
