That was just embarrassing last night. To Sturt's credit they worked much harder and always had numbers at the contest. They deserved to win by much more.

We had one really good player in McKenzie. One player who tried hard and could hold his head high in Grocke. The rest were pathetic.

I've seen some poor Eagles performances but none worse than that. Too many stuff ups to mention. Some unbelievably dumb football. Luckily we have next week to redeem. They better.

Might be some drug testing done this week at Oxford Terrace.
Need to find out which is the real Sturt team, the one from the first two weeks or friday nights team

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Sturt were superior in EVERY department - their pace advantage was telling, as was their centre clearance work & particularly the pressure exerted on our defenders in their 1/2 of the ground.

We had 3 players all night... Macca, Parry (I think he'll go for the last 1/4 incident) & Pat G.
The rest need to have a good look in the mirror!

If this is what we are going to be served up from Godden & the players this year, then I want my membership money back! LIFT YOUR GAME!

Does WWTFC have refundable memberships?

Bernie Vince was at least one Crow player watching the Eagles pathetic performance last night.
Took too much notice of the standard I think and the Crows team copied it as well

I used to say Richmond supporters should only get 3 game memberships, because they are usually cutting them up after 3 games.

I've never heard of a 3 round membership ... although there's a minor round only membership that's quite popular ...

Well, our first 3 qtrs at glenelg were great. Just 5 qtrs of footy over two games took the wind out of the fans. The eags game is how we want to play and should.

Good that you've left Westies out of that, TSG :)

Yeah but West have an unfair advantage now, with that interstate/interterritory trial game of yesterday ;) Westies should win by plenty on Thurs night ;)

Fantastic I reckon.
That video must be from THAT game at the parade. I dare say it was after Michael Graham's massive goal, although there were many things for him to get excited about in that 10 odd minutes of footy I could easily be wrong.
If you could swing the vision around say 120 degrees or so you'd catch footage of a 12 year old therisingblues invading the oval with about 10 other little pip-squeaks, with Roman chasing us down one by one and hurling us all back over the fence.

P.S Loved having Halbert at Unley, the man bled blue.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Insipid display. No excuses for that display, worst since 2008 when we missed the finals. Eags struggle against sides that really harass them like sturt did. Hopefully just a hiccup but game against North will tell. We don't seem to have the depth that was mooted pre-season. Badly need Hentschell or Salter up forward. Badly missing pace and creativity of Smith and Polec.
