can't argue they didn't deserved it ... I think people forget how many close games the Magpies lost last year.

Considering the conditions TSG i think your being very hard, yes there were alot of turnovers but i bet every other game in those conditions would of been as bad if not worse.
I take the conditions into consideration & as frustrating as is was at times i thought it was a great game to watch.

Maybe being harsh NM, but it didn't look good on TV.

Not sure why people get so defensive when there team is involved in an ugly game of football.

6 according to RPH
This was the 1st game in 7 that Port have won when there has been less than a goal difference at the final siren

port seemed to want to win more than we did
i think our win last week masked several problems
1/4 last week and 1/4 this week we wont be winning many games until this is addressed

I wonder if what Bamford said in the Messenger during the week was in the players heads during the last term.

Players that do not perfom in close matches will be dropped. Should have started last year.

Here's a pearler from the country edition of the Sunday Mail
"They (Port) put enormous pressure on Glenelg as they did in last year's finals series."

Which is probably just as well because the match write-up is 15 pages in from the back.

obviously no breeze on the tv

ps, i thought north were worse than both port & glenelg as far as skill level was concerned in the 2 games i watched yesterday (without a tv)

Have been told North were woeful. If there skills were below Port and Glenelgs, it explains why they lost.

One thing that really stands out, IMHO - the midfield of Glenelg is really missing Ty Allen's work at the stoppages.
