So you didn't read the letter from Centrals about the proposed changes to the poker machine legislation then?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Football Park other than it's assumed name. Why is it that when we are only going to be there for 3 hours 10 or 11 times a year at best, and let's face it, how many blokes spend a good time in the bar or it's surrounds?, - why is it not good enough for football?
Commonly known as the best surface in Australia, sufficient snack bars, sufficient loos, great view, max. of 45 mins drive from far north, far south or far east metro., soso public transport (but it is YOUR choice to use it), adequate car parking (great parking if you are not too lazy to walk 10 minutes), great size ground - are we there for football or a 5 Star holiday?
Elizabeth is simply too far north for MOST people, much more inconvenient than Football Park and the notion really reeks of Waverley Park in Melbourne. Great stadium in an outlying residential area which just increases travel time for MOST spectators...............Doh !
Won't happen, & if it did, won't work, and for what it's worth - scrap Adelaide Oval too.......spend the money looking after my sick parents or actually teaching my kids something at school, rather than just being a WiFi hub for them.

But the opportunity to place yet another control over how people live there lives is too hard to resist - perhaps 'the downtrodden' wouldn't feel so downtrodden if Govt's didn't tread down on them.
