Good.

The real culprit is the state government for cutting back on mental health funding and spending hundreds of millions on making sure AFL fans can go to a cafe in the city prior to a game instead.

Perhaps a the worst of them would be safe where they belong if it werent for that.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Geez Mick you're being a bit precious aren't you?
1- If anyone was offended by that well they need to have a look at themselves.
2- If a player needs that sort of thing to get fired up for a sudden death final then the coach needs to have a look at him.
3- I don't reckon it's be any worse than what any of his team mates would've already said.

For all the talk about fortress', and our record at Woody Park I think we'd be the last to be getting ahead of ourselves, our form over the year has been attrocious, even with that great win on the weekend. Let's face it, if you guys had've won alot of your mob would be spruiking "fortress, bitches, blah blah blah". We've finally found some great form and we've beaten everyone we've had to in the last month in order to get where we are now, so we've got every right to be confident going into Sunday's game. The facts are that we've evened it up to being a 50/50 game and not falling over the line into the finals with all the odds stacked in your corner, with you guys being red hot favourites.

Eagles were extremely poor and heads will roll this week at selection .players that should have been dropped this week will be dropped next .

BUT STURT should have had the game signed sealed and delivered at 1/4 time .Sturt could have been 11 goals to zip !!

Not 100% certain what the Eagles are upto .Grocke was a late out with soreness (do I smell a Fremantle move here ).
Eagles under18's promoted to the seconds in another nothing game.Eagles under 18's lost without some very good players !!

And the sturt Cheer squad were they at it again !!! Walking across the oval at 3/4 time .No idea what happened some sort of altercation with Weslo .1taken away and then his mate started and he got taken away .My question is why you've the game in the bag why bother to fight with anyone.Enjoy the football win !!

With a good win you could've got 3rd spot and a double chance, not to mention the chance of Norwood losing. Remote but it was always a chance in the wet

Not being precious mate last game was Nelsons 300 game .And he mad a stupid comment about the Eagles not being a good team (or words to that affect).Game day Coaching staff and players were told. And we know the result of that game!!
This should bring Karma back on you blues the final series you can not lose .Already destined to play the Dogs.

And if the Eagles win I'll be yelling Karma at the top my lungs !!! With a few other words thrown in for good measure .

As I said Mick, from our great win at the fortress we have turned this final into a 50/50 chance from what wouldve been 60/40 at best, now if Godden didn't think it important or possible to get 3rd spot and a double chance OR have it over Sturt mentally with 3 wins in one season then that's fine, but I don't know where you're getting this "we've already got this final wrapped up" stuff from, I certainly haven't read it on this forum.

Like Voice, I used to be in the Cheer Squad, if that makes you feel better! :-)

What year(s) ?

I would guess it was around 1991 onwards... on and off in some years, right up to about 2002... I mainly hung with big Jim, Fred, Con, Ang, Barto and later with Voice... I was on the Marketing and Fundraising Committee at the club from 1991 and represented the CS then to the GM, getting $$$ for materials and so on, but I was not the CS leader by any means, just one of the gang and a bit more formerly involved with the club for a few years. But then I moved to England in 2000 and didn't return until 2005, except for 2002 when I flew back for the Prelim and GF!
