As for those of us prepared to question tactics, MickyJ - I again ask "Do Centrals do it?"

Once again, supporters such as yourself are prepared to accept MEDIOCRITY - & THAT is the reason we continue to be a 'middle-of-the-road team & club!

If we are to SURVIVE as a club - this sort of ACCEPTANCE must change.

Lets gets this correct LEH .I have had a number of chats with our Clubs CEO.And in those chats I have implored him we must become like Centrals on and off the field .And if that implies we become arrogant like Centrals can be(they have a right to be) and the old Port Adelaide so frigging be it
I do not accept our club being middle of the road in fact we should be the most dominant club along Port road .

You second question do Centrals play like this .They were held scoreless in the second quarter last week.We were not !!!
But to play like Centrals in the home and away season is to do just enough to win most games.
The real season for Centrals starts in the final series.

Tell me you have never seen Centrals change directions like our back line did Saturday .I bet you have !!!

And if you got to Prospect early enough you would have seen the youth that is coming up the ranks in the seconds .And if you saw that game tell me you didn't see a player that could grow into a Cica roll in the league.Just in case you missed the seconds winning his name was Poole and he wore number 1.plus there were other very good youngsters playing .

For to long we did not as a team run the ball.We start to run and all we get are complaints!!! How do u expect to beat sturt etc with out a running game!!!
If its not fans complaining about running with the ball .Its old fart fans complaining about zone defence .GEEEZZZ give it a rest guys/gals.We were crap in the first half then did what we needed to do to win .A bit like Centrals do ;)
Now some Pace would be nice if we could get that!!!

Boys , boys , boys , its beginning to sound like H78 with Fuller in charge ! Your both right you know , but changing gamestyle and roster inside one season isnt being realistic . That being said , Godden & Davies by now would have a reasonable grasp of the types of players necessary to bring to our club ie. genuine midfielders with some toe . If we dont spend some $ and make those moves then let the criticism flow because really its so obvious to everyone in the League what our weaknesses are and how to plan against us . Lets give them a chance as after all we gave the 3 Amigos plenty and their record was only OK apart from 06 when funnily enough we went all out and actually recruited some quality players and coaches !!!! :o
