Well at least Stribling knows how to get around it unlike that big dumb Cockshell and his punch to Gill's midriff!

Stribling has certainly perfected the art of the rib tickle. As far as what Gill recieved from Cockshell, not terribly well hidden by the big fella, but was only in retaliation to 2 quick jabs in the kidneys from Gill just before the ruck contest, judging by the grimace on his face, he certainly 'earned' the point he kicked from the free kick. Not that I condone retaliation by form of violence...

A couple of Fuller’s thoughts on the match:

We forgot about the cheap shots that were being handed out and come to realise that the reason these players do it are because they are lacking in the real qualities that win games of football.

I actually never felt we were out of the game because North hadn't beaten us on anything but our mistakes.

He's right about mistakes, I swear at one stage of the game the most effective deliverer of the footy for each team was the opposition. It was the only time chests were being found.

Pretty poor "sore loser" comments from Fuller. Is that the best he can come up with to explain a loss??? If he thinks that South are a better side than North and the only reason we won is because of South's mistakes shows he has lost the plot.

North made plenty of turnovers earlier but when we corrected that and lifted the intensity all of a sudden we were 8 goals up. The only reason South got back in was because North relaxed and got "cocky" but full marks to South for taking the gift offered.

perhaps if Ronny is worried about the cheap shots then perhaps he could get one of his assistants to give a crash course in it. Seeing as he was a master at it....
