so was Motlop, mostly. Alleway is Grenville reincarnated, his coach needs to instruct him to get it together if he wants to play at this level, he is doing a Cosgrove!

As I saw, no one got struck, and it was a fairly feeble attempt to grab Gowans, which he fended of quite easily.

Hardy played well. Should have probably been in the side before today's game. It was the Lawry and Hardy show in the back lines.

Really impressed with Reichart in his first game. Did some really good things.

Motlop is fat and lazy. He was more interested in asking the umpire for free kicks than playing the game.

Lawry and Hardy

Imagine if Gunston plays in defence with them !!!

At one stage the radio commentary had something like this to say about a passage of play today involving NA
"" We need to play the Benny Hill music ""

Its a prick of a day for the Rooster faithful, NA have to much talent not to play good footy for too long

trouble is for them, that has been the case for a while now, shitloads of talent but they can't seem to put it on the park consistently enough.

I'm guessing you haven't seen the games when he played very well this year. He is the least our team's problems.

fair enough maybe, but like everyone says about Cosgrove, if he lost the weight, he probably would be much better, after all, he should be fit, shouldn't he?

When players abuse field umpires they at times get penalised
Today a player abused and swore at a boundary umpire
It was not isolated, he abused the bounday ump for a fair while
Some people in the crowd became vocal
I heard the language from my seat in the crowd
I guess the field umps didnt hear it ???????????

Should the boundary umpire be allowed to tell a field umpire about this and the players team penalised ?

Players get frustrated and fair enough
But to abuse boundary or goal umpires incessively is not right
No one deserves to be insulted

I can also add the usual , that there were young kids in the crowd who may or may not have heard this

(I believe this says more about channel 9 than it does about your ability to assess the game, cennals05  )

Is this the same Channel 9 that's spent the bulk of the past 2.5 years covering the dots in their logo in a desperate attempt to look local

I wonder how many teams have, like North, only kicked 6 goals total in 6 consecutive quarters of football?
