How does this affect playres returning to North from the AFL? for instance if next year Phil Davis got sacked from the Crows (fat chance) would North be able to recruit him?

Yes they would, if it operates the same way as it did for Norwood. Let's hope they get the wording of the penalty right this time so it stops the club registering players for the next two seasons.

I would suggest that whoever is responsible for the bullshit story under Warren Partlands name and quoting Darren Chandler may land safooty in some strife. The NAFC is to put out a release on their website tomorrow explaining the breach. It relates to the fact that Damon White was payed under the wrong coaching level accreditation and the breach has amounted to North getting a fine of less than $5k and no other penalty.

Poor form people posting otherwise!

darren chandler said that about damon white on 5AA tonight, so it looks like an honest mistake, i'm sure damon & north will have this rectified in the next few weeks

I doubt it when I'd initially posted it was "technical" and I have a pretty good track record of posting accurate things, the Apostle isn't exactly reknown for his ability to get information off a site that others can't find.
If anyone believed the Apostle and not me (and then rr provided more info) then I with our track records on here then I'd just shake my head in disbelief at them. (struggling to be very polite in that last sentence)
