Tea Tree Gully currently have a waiting list for players to get to play for the club as do other sides in the N/E, as I am aware TTG are a CDFC allocated club. How many SANFL clubs have the benefit of having their zoned clubs being so popular that potential juniors have to go onto a waiting list to play for the club? One of the reasons the club is so popular is because local junior players in the area want to play for the Dogs - and considering they have just managed ten Grand Finals in a row, why wouldn't they!

TTG is in the heart of Norwoods zone. Check out this link Sojournor http://www.sanfl.com.au/the_sanfl/sanfl_club_boundaries/ Anymore theories on how the North East is given to Centrals???

Surpising of what we think is Centrals area is actually Norwoods zone (Norwood northern most boundary is less than 5 km from Gawler....)
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

A few people around me picked Goodrem, I would have gone with Sansbury or James Gowan.

Well done to the Dogs on a dominant decade, love them or hate them you have to respect them, the bar has been raised now and the rest are still trying to get up there, maybe next year!
Trust the process.

Well done to Centrals. Too good for us and I'll concur that it would be James Gowans for BOG in my book.
Thought today was yet another example of whether it be AFL or SANFL that even in these times of analytical football that there is still something to be said for getting the ball on long, especially when under pressure, in finals matches.
Good atmosphere at game and in carpark prior to game where BBQ's reigned supreme and there was plenty of friendly banter between rival supporters.
Kurtze unlucky and even more so in hindsight given that Bowen didn't have a good day today.
Thurstans and Chambers certainly didn't appear to be quite right but Toby did have a couple of gettable shots in the second quarter that would have at least made it interesting if he had snagged them.
Interesting that a number of tickets were printed without barcodes and while it wouldn't have been a problem for most yours truly had to wait about 10 minutes for a "supervisor" to get to gate entry point to give me the all clear.

Highlight of the day for me was when Callinan kicked his goal in the second quarter. Raised a big cheer in the Hobart pub where I was watching. He's still remembered fondly by many here.

I thought the umpiring was only adequate; thought there were several soft/absent frees paid on both sides.

And I think I might have given the Jack Oatey Medal to Buckets, so great was his dominance in hit-outs; gave Centrals first use time and time again.

It's funny. Centrals actually have a pissant zone as far as participation goes - but we get by.

Everyone has there opinion on who was best on ground. There were a number of candidates but I'll just say this - Goodrem has never played a better game in a Central jumper than the one he played today.

Goodrem did play a great game today. But i thought buckets was outstanding with his ruckwork, chasing, tackling and gave the dogs runners first look at the ball. :o

I Apologise and take it back!

Interesting to see Golden Grove is NAFC territory on the map, unsure about Greenwith though, yet clearly TTG are allocated to Norwood though!

We've won 13 premierships... sooooooo just five more there chuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuumpah! :-)

Hope you feel better now...

Have to say though... giving your side credit, I would have thought you'd appreciate the unbiased view. I was genuinely surprised how well Centrals played today, really surprised... can't help that feeling, that's what I honestly thought.

We lost, its just our bad luck, but thank the makers that we snatched one from you this decade. Plus people shouldn't take my humble words in defeat to mean I don't care, I would have LOVED to smash you and go 2-0 up...

... and oh my word I would have loved rubbing it in.

But bottom line, again, winners are grinners and you my friend are the grinners yet again!

Just got back from the club. Couldn't stay awake any longer. Good to see Delta Goodrem enjoying the party at Elizabeth.

I'm not having a go but did she seriously go to the club? I think that's great if she did but i'd be surprised. Once again i'm not having a go but most high profile people would have personal security wherever they go, did she? (this is not suggesting going to Elizabeth requires security, i'd be asking the same if she went to any SANFL club).

Well done to the Dogs again. Just an amazing footy club.

Well done Dogs...too good, my son had the pleasure of giving Chris Gowans his 8th (and hopefully last, if the curse works) premiership medal
