You my friend should be lined up and shot.,your post wreaks of sour grapes, jealousy, and a complete disrespect for my club.
If you want to post garbage like that on something your club has nothing to do with at the moment go ahead.
From my point of view i went to a final with 2 fantastic teams, playing their guts out, which resulted in an epic finish.
Yes you my friend wanna take stock and start throwing out garbage comments in areas where you are involved.
Not dragging down a final that YOU have no impact or say in.
Go home, have a drink, and forget the crap you dished up,cause at the moment you look like a bitter waste of space ,like a lost dog hanging around looking for a tree to piss on.

Cheers 8)

What he said!

P.S Is ten GFs in a row a record? I remember in the eighties a Port Sticker "History makers, record breakers" I was so envious of that.

Sure is - previous best was 7 I believe from Port many moons ago (they also made 6 in a row from 1994-1999)
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

True but I think people overplay the mental toughness card to some degree. Player for player they are a higher skilled, faster and stronger team. Other teams might get in front but the better team wins. Sure a lot of it is their mental toughness but at their best they are simply a better team than Sturt and Glenelg.

Lock it in Eddie. We might want to pull that one out in a couple of weeks.

Maybe contact the brewery and ask them to have the chimney ceremony this week perhaps?

Long, long way to go yet I'm afraid. Yes, congratulations on a great effort today but the job's not done just yet. ;)

Sorry Dutchy, maybe this will fire you up! Plenty more, but cutting and pasting takes too long and I know you'd be hurting.

Phenomenal game which was another great advertisemnet for SANFL footy regardless of the winner. Belief, confidence and the ability to execute at crunch moments allowed the Dogs to again snatch victory where it was really entitled to. The lesson to be learnt from Centrals point of view is that in both finals they have produced their best attacking footy when they had no choice but to take risks and move the ball forward quickly and at all costs.
A Bay win today would have made it difficult for either Sturt or Centrals to "come up" for a GF, but now with a weeks rest, the Dogs will have every chance to clinch their 8th flag in 10 years. Phenomenal
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

Don't the great teams just find a way to get a goal when they are up against it. Whilst it is a different level of competition, maybe the Crows could take note. That last goal just before 3/4 time was the most important all day.

IMO it will now be more of a mental battle for the Bays. Looking at some of their players afterwards, I got the feeling they don't know what else they have to do to win. Apart from a couple of shots at goal (and McConnell), it is hard to see how or where they could have played much better. Kirkby and Murphy really impressed today.

Sorry, I don't buy that. There is definitely much room for improvement.

Any player would be greatly disappointed after a loss like that so I wouldn't read too much into it.

Dont blame my mob NW
Not Norwoods fault CD keep dodging them every final this decade ...

In fact its not 8 teams that need to lift to beat CD in finals its 6
NW + SA are ''not not, not resposible'' for CD great finals records 2000-2009

What rubbish. If you didn't give them 100 point wins so often they wouldn't make the finals! :-) You're just as responsible as every other team that has lost to them during the minor round. That gets them there in the first place...

What some of the finalists can be criticised for is when they roll over and let the Dogs win by plenty. I don't know how often that happens, but teams pushing the Dogs to a goal or two is at least making them earn it.

Have to have a chuckle at the Tiger posters, who continually tell us, win, lose or draw, that the Bays can play better. Maybe it is time to take off the blinkers lads? Maybe you lot aren't that good? Maybe that is the best you have got?

p.s. Sturt are due for win against the Tigers aren't they? ;)

Seriously? I don't think so. I think if Glenelg go out this week, that's a disaster for them. If they win and then go on to lose the grannie against the Dogs, equally that's a disaster. For Sturt, if we go out this week, I personally will feel we've finished where I think we deserve to finish, because in the end I think the Tigers are much better than us and the Dogs are slightly better than us. If we win and make the grannie, I think we've over achieved in September since Chambo has been out and how the two finals for us have gone. But that's just me. I'm sure there'll be other Sturt fans who have much higher hopes and expectations than moi, but that's just how I feel, I'll be content somewhat if we go out next week, but obviously a win is what I want.
