Maybe not at the centre bounces but surely he will tack the forward line ruck work and allow Cranston / Button to control the back play.

He has been playing back up ruckman for the Crows so I wouldn't be suprised if he spends some time in the middle for the Bays. The weather forecast (not sure what it is at this stage) for Sunday may effect selection for the Bays in terms of whether they go in with 3 big men or just have Cranston and Sellar. That said, Lachy Button would be very unlucky to miss out, from what I have seen of him this year, he has come on in leaps and bounds.

Just can't under estimate the dogs in September - my tip is a Central win booking their 10th consecutive grand final appearance.

Correct. Cranston has struggled against Buckets, and at the Bay for the draw game I thought Butts did a good job on him. So can see Butts/Cranny rotating, with Sellsy up in a forward pocket.

why wouldn't you rotate all three & maybe kirk as well, against buckets & giles ?...lets face it buckets was the main difference last year & was the main difference in the last 10 minutes last week.....but i'm not a coach
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Central's League Team:

FF: Matthew Slade Daniel Havelberg Scott Dutschke
HF: Kyle Jenner Daniel Schell Chris Gowans
CL: Adam Switala James Gowans Brayden O'Hara
HB: Paul Thomas Heath Lawry Richard Cochrane
FB: Trent Goodrem Yves Sibenaler Lee Spurr

RK: Jason Mackenzie Ryan Williams Chad O'Sullivan

INT: (from) Jonathon Giles, Ben Nason, Eddie Sansbury & Leigh Westhoff

IN: Matthew Slade (recov)

Still no Ian Callinan and Andrew Hayes for the Dogs which be a worry for their supporters and a more potent forward line from the Bays then what Sturt threw up last week.

Suprised Justin Hardy hasn't at least come into the squad with Hayes not coming up, but in saying that, these boys may be subject to fitness tests later in the week.

Is that from a Glenelg point of view.

I thought Roy might have given a clue as to what might happen this week when he said last week Slade would have played if we didn't have the double chance. And James Gowans wasn't risked against Norwood. Obviously they've taken the view that unless it's a cut throat final we'll make sure blokes are 100%. I dare say there will be a lot more talk about what risks there might be playing certain players for the following game.

I don't like to be too critical of selection because Roy knows what he's doing, but how is Ryan Williams still getting a game?

A mannequin?

*I suggest people should book mark this page. Whenever I say something negative about a player it always comes back to bite me on the arse.

I agree with you, he has been struggling big time and his disposal is killing us, but the bloke still tackles hard can take a mark and can play nearly any position on the ground, unfortunatly we don't have to many versatile players in the reserves side to replace with and definatley none that have his big game experience.

yeah but he is pretty much an out and out midfielder so unless they plan on dropping a current midfielder he won't get in IMHO

Don't worry mate - I'm with you.
I saw him play in that game we got belted by the Eagles last year at Woodville and his disposal was rubbish then (and I thought, he won't be on the Power list long).
And nothing (except him getting dropped by the Power) has changed since.
Some of his missed passes in crucial stages on the weekend were cringeworthy.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

Its a strange irony but Ryan Williams seems to have lost all form since being Centrals lone representative in the State side.
