It might have been a bit soft,. but O'Hara should have never given the ump the opportunity to call the free. Pointless thing to do, has to be more disciplined.

It was VERY late.

agreed.

Every club has idiot supporters and we definitely have our share of muppets who make the club look bad, but I was pretty disappointed in the Life FM commentators in singling out Sturt supporters. IIRC, we're not the ones who chuck lit flares around.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Yeah, but behaviour like that is to be expected from people from Elizabeth...

Didn't see one of those today, so no need to bring it up - the commentators are there to paint a picture of the game in progress, not a game from last year.

A flare was lit after Eddie Sansbury's goal in the last quarter. What's worse, a flare, or a supporter attemping to go after umpires? Neither are necessary

Yeah there was one at the northern end in the 3rd quarter i think it was.
The Sturt supporter who went after the umpires and was escorted off by the police after the game deserves to be singled out.

The question is not what's worse, but what happens more frequently AND with a greater risk factor. I know what my bet is

Very true, but for the one with the flare, I suggest that security ask that person to bend over and then they insert one where the sun doesn't shine before lighting it. I bet you it doesn't happen again. ;)

How do you think they get them in to the game?
I have seen red coats go over the top but have never seen them do a cavity search.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

I thought he was called out of it, but he could have shirked - if he did, once in ten years is a better record than any other current SANFL player.

And the comment was a player talking to his team mates in the heat of a moment after a terrific win - Todd made his comments to the media in an interview. Yep, Todd's still dumb.

No, IMO kept his eye on the on the ball pretty much and kept on after the pill when he knew he couldn't reach it.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Query about the Sharples bump...why didn't O'Hara get another shot at goal in last years Grand Final when the exact same thing happened to him???
