Glenn Archer was in town mid week (saw him in Grenfell St), im assuming for something AFL related but wondered if he may have had any other engagements during the day.

Peter German would be a very good choice. In his time as senior coach at Subiaco in the WAFL (and Peel briefly prior to that) he was highly professional, tough and uncompromising.

I think you would be right. I was a scrutineer for the seat of Norwood in the 1977 state elections just after Elvis died, and we made a pile of votes cast for Elvis. He may not have got enough votes to defeat incumbent Don Dunstan, but the pile was rather large one, and a considerable % of the informal vote :)

norwood should look at someone who hasnt got afl aspirations and will stick around and not race into the afl after a couple of years.
