This job was the perfect opportunity to demonstrate his worth as a coach but he's failed the test and it's not a good entry on his CV. He seemed more interested keeping his public profile up by writing a weekly column in the Sunday Times newspaper and dabbling in breakfast radio host than knuckling down and getting his team performing.
IMO that's unfair on Jarman. He took us to within 1 win of the top 4 last year, then this year we did not recruit anyone and lost 3 top players. I'd prefer he stay on and finish the job and from what i understand he does too -but the family are homesick so i can't blame him for that. He has blooded a whole heap of young kids which previous coaches were reluctant to do.
BTW - by the sounds of it Peel Thunder would be the South Adelaide of the WAFL

arent peel more like centrals prior to 2000
Centrals at least made finals prior to 2000. Peel don't even look like challenging to get off bottom at this stage.
Cant fault their junior development though.
It's all the SANFL's fault.
