I also believe that we don't have the personnel at the moment to play the 1 on 1 style of footy Fuller demands. We have too many players in the side that aren't capable of beating their opposition therefore 1 on 1 just doesn't work!
In after the state game (which has come at just the right time) must be McKenzie, Fitzgerald and Cicollela at least. Out - Hicks, Daniel and Jacky minimum.

I disagree with Jacky as an out as I feel at times this season he has been very good - he is definately I would continue giving a go.

I missed this post earlier Fitzgerald IMHO has been down on his normal playing standard .Or is it a fact that fizty is playing more down back than up forward .

One needs to wiegh up Jacky or Lane .One may well be taken by the crows shortly and the other to be playing state U18 .

cica and cheep both showed some form yesterday.
Fairclough I am not totally convinced about but at least he would attack a pack.
rimmington could get a recall as well.

But all the above do not address the Eagles problems up forward .The eagles are lacking a big forward hentschell could be the answer for one week.
To bad Mcentee broke his hand he could have held down chb while kenny went to FF.

Pseudo, to save space I won't quote your last post, but I will say it was probably one of the most gratuitiously irrelevant posts in your illustrious posting career.

I was asked a question and gave a factual answer to that question. No more, no less.

I have to admit, though, that your offering, although totally irrelevant, was a highly entertaining entrant in the 'long-lasting sour grapes' competition :D

Out: Hicks, Miles, Hill, Lane, Davoren, Daniel, Schultz, Corbett

That is the worst bunch of footballers ever to play league football - no wonder we are playing crap football.
The only other out would be Fuller to the B grade and bring in Jefferies

Get off your high horse RAB - I was merely pointing out that West has 12 listed AFL players, not 11. That I choose to combine it with a swipe at the hack Port Power coach is a matter of style.

That I didn't; thankyou bosvit. West has 11 AFL listed players after all. Play on.

Did anyone see the last qtr incident between Cupido and Grocke that saw Grocke hit the deck after kicking a goal? I didnt see the incident just saw him on the ground, once he got up and went back for a bit of push and shove Cupido did a bit of shadow boxing, appeared both were spoken to by one of the field umpires but didnt see anything more after that.
Trust the process.

Yes, I saw the aftermath of that.

I think Groecke fainted and Cupido was concerned for him.

R&B - have you considered that not having any AFL listed players yesterday might have helped you get the win?

Glenelg have been much better settled since we havent had the revolving door in the last couple of seasons

I agree with your general point, Dutchy, but I'm always happy to see Davenport and Moran in our side. They always give 100% for us.

(I also think that Robbie Gray, Michael Pettigrew, Patrick Dangerfield and Hamish Hartlett would benefit from a run in the SANFL ) ;)

Well done Westies on the win, a team on the improve.

Don't know whats going on with the Eags, think we have hit the wall.

Please don't use injuries as an excuse, cause every club has them. I think we are lacking depth in our playing group to replace injured players. Also some selections do seem strange??

Hopefully the break will do us good.

Yes I did see him hit Grocke. It was pretty much in front of where I was at the time. I think that he should be reported by the Goal Umpire.

Definitely some wholesale changes are needed.

Out: Hicks, Miles, Hill, Lane, Davoren, Daniel, Schultz, Corbett (possibly Shirley out suspended)
In: McKenzie, Rimington, Fitzgerald, Cicolella, Dawson, Staple, Fairclough, R Fiacchi (possibly Hentschel to come in)

Team:

F: Cicolella Hentschel Dawson
HF: Westbrook Grocke Fitzgerald
C: Rimington McKenzie Allmond
HB: Jarrad McGregor Stewart
B: P.Fiacchi Hier R.Fiacchi
R: Dabrowski Broadbent Treeby
I: Fairclough Staple Jacky

Grocke and McGregor might need to be used as 2nd ruckman when Dabrowski needs a break.

Can't believe the comments about Shirley getting 5-7 or 6 games for an incident that happened in the play and was because an umpire didn't call for a ball-up quick enough.

Crikey Gowans only got three weeks after he was clearly shown to have hit a North player in the Grand Final after he chased him to do it!

Haven't noticed too many West Adelaide supporters commenting on the Grocke incident.

People who live in glass houses .....

I commented on it :D

The reason nobody has commented on it is because nobody saw it.

Everyone saw the Ben Fisher incident.

As for glasshouses, two wrongs, etc....
