1 is an AFL regular and the other is hopeful of getting 6 or 7 games. ;) ;)

You love to set yourself up don't you G

Wouldn't it be funny and you look the fool (again ;) ) when Skippy goes on to play more than 6 or 7 games

(Just teasing ya mate, don't take it to heart :D )

yeah good on Skippy for getting another chance - always felt sorry for him when he got axed from the Crows. I'm sure he will do well!

Oooohh :D

I think he will play in their 21 for most of the year...

Agreed BigPhil. Skippy will be a very handy pick up. I would personaly be surprised if he played in any less than half of senior games this season. Skippy is a player I have said should have never been delisted by Crows in first place.

I guess you have to look at the team he was drafted to. Very young, in need of some experience. He'll get game time with the Bummers

Adelaide Crows will go down in history for drafting the worse player of all time !
Ricky Henderson is a fine basketballer from Ballarat and plays footy for Trentham in a s***t bush league 60 ks out of town.
He got picked up because of his height and jumping ability alone.
The team that gets him in the mini draft will be spueing.
Will never ever play AFL footy. Will be lucky to get a kick in the SANFL reserves.
I had to check the calender to see if it was April fools day !
What a joke, and someone actually gets paid to pick these blokes out.
Dumbfounded. :o  :?

Seems like a pretty good pick up to me. Based on that footage i think he will be playing league in the very near future

Off the topic I know, and maybe i should put it somewhere else but i found it here. As a South supporter two things struck me about the video posted above.
1. I didn't get to see the south game unfortunatly and although this is a very small snippet of the game, how easily did centrals brush south off? Pretty worrying.
2. The size of the crowd in the Norwood game. Is this now becoming common, great to see in the Sanfl, a bit of atmosphere at a game, similar in Glenelgs game but not to the same extent. Good on Norwood and North fans.

Based on the footage, he moves pretty well however his kicking action requires some attention.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

I think Skipworth is doing well with the Bombers.

Oh that's right, this is an opportune time for this thread to be bumped. ;)

just b4 it is, I think Skippy has shown a fair bit of grit and determination, never gave up on trying to get back to AFL. Well done.
