Don't you hate that, especially when they lose the night or day before or they haven't played that weekend or they play away.

when the commentators say "he works hard for his possesions", as if it's easier for someone else to get the footy.

no different to the Amateur League supporters who wear their local club colours to an SANFL game- entirely appropriate, as it's quite often the "feeder club" having the opportunity to see one of their lads at a higher level.

5 pre game banners - so yesterday and everyone does it - surely time for something different

Time out - ever made one yourself or been involved in making one???

As you are such an expert let's see what your alternative is for "something different"?

I know your opinion of the 10 things that annoy you most is your personal preference but if that is number 5 then give up and go back to the drawing board!

how about just running onto the ground?? the people involved should be more productive with their time then making up a banner that gets ripped apart and thrown out every week.

Guess it's a personal preference thing, but I like the Banners ... Guess it appeals to my traditionalist side.

it is good to see someones face on them for big milestones, other then that and finals IMO time could be better spent doing other things, but obviously people are happy enough doing it so just up to the individual.

I like the banners too....I think it's good to retain some traditions in sport...like your floggers and cheerleaders or the Haka's at the rugby. They can set a good atmosphere from the start of the game and kids usually love it so anything that attracts them to the game is all good.

What I hate are idiots who run onto the ground and disrupt the game...clothed or not...should take the approach that they do up here...lock the buggers up...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/gla ... 742453.stm

...and flares (not the kind mulletheads wear)...I would actively avoid attending a game if I knew people would be chucking flares about.

- I dont care what they wear, Im just glad to see numbers at SANFL Footy.

This is a good post IMHO ... The only time I can recall seeing much Crows apparell was at an Eagles v Norwood game at Woodville, with the Crows playing that evening down the road, but regardless, better to have those supporters at the local footy than not.

I also love to see lots of people at SANFL, but I prefer people to wear SANFL colours at SANFL games and AFL Colours at AFL games.

Surely you would make an exception for those then venturing on to an AFL game?

What about other sportingwear? I wear my Liverpool gear to most Norwood games.

And your Rooster gear this year too

The Eagles only have them for milestones for 100+ games and finals.

The old ducks at Crows games who :

1. Dont know anything about the game
2. Call every player by their first name e.g. 'go Tyson'
3. Call every opposition player who lays a tackle 'a rabbit'??

Supporters spending most of the day bagging either their own players or umpires. Normally these people also do it in a manner that shows their own lack of knowledge of the game. Like yelling at blokes to just kick the ball, and then getting upset when they do and kick it to the nest of opposition players they were trying to avoid to start with! Or having a go at umpires for paying a free kick for a blatant push or high tackle. Grrrr.......

1.........Spectators who dont know the rules.
2.......... The fact local hysteria in the media now means new fans(especially at footy park) think barracking for your team is sitting in silence and booing every decision that goes against your side(and even some that do using the boo 1st look later approach).
3..........Investing in the Rooster Raffle in what must be 100's of time and not yet greeting the judge.
4.........The CEO live cross on the news......pathetic
5.........Looking at idiots standing on the centre square hurling abuse at the umpires at 1/4 and 3/4 time at the SANFL games...pathetic,throw these bacteria of society out.
6....... Artificial lace up jumpers like Port Adelaide Maggies.......disMal
7......... REB and his near genius writings being spoilt by the odd piece of REB Rubbish
8.........Moans about parking at SANFL grounds...Never walked more than 15 min in the last 18yr
9.......... The talk of the Victorian rivaly that is only a one way rivaly.
10......Not being able to think of a number 10.
