No, he's still on Port Power's list.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

And before you ask, they even hurled any projectile they could find on the ground towards the clubrooms.

Yes without a doubt Sturt are imploding. After a big win against Central maybe they started getting ahead of themeselves and hence 2 big losses against North and Glenelg who are fellow finals contenders. We all know premierships aren't won in June but they will have to get on track early to keep their top 3 hopes alive.

Your last sentence is a good point. Your first is absolutely laughable...

Sorry if it's been asked, but why did Sturt not play the Ressies at Unley today ?

I was wondering that myself, since Friday night was essentially a Sturt home match. Perhaps costs involved with securing the ground for a game? They wouldn't bother with the temporary fencing just for the ressies would they?

Sturt still have to pay a hire fee for the exclusive use of the oval if they want to have a Reserves game on the oval, on one occassion after Sturt had moved to Adelaide Oval they played a reserves or juniors game there, I cant remember which and a councillor from Unley Council deliberatley walked across the oval with his dog whilst the game was on, the Umpire had to hold the game up until this chap had walked across the oval and "made his point". Hence the current situation of hire fees for exclusivity for the use of the Oval and they most probably would have to have the fencing up as a result.

Sorry to go on a tangent and maybe with a topic on its own, but how hard is it for Sturt to survive at Unley with some noticable hostility from the Council.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but most councils are supportive of the SANFL clubs, or at very worst, not hostile to them because they understand the benefits that a community based organisation can provide to their area.

With this in mind, what is the mid-long term future of Unley as an SANFL venue?
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

As it currently stands as I am aware the Mayor of Unley and nearly half of the councillors are pro the SFC, there are a couple of councillors that quite openly have it in for the club and do their best to make things hard for the club and are trying to prevent the club from investing into the ground and upgrading the training facilities. Hopefully Sturt will have a candidates list again at the next election and enough SANFL fans that live in the Unley Council area can vote them out so that Sturt can get on with what they need done at Unley.

It was quite weird seeing the Bays play at Glenelg in white shorts!
