I was wondering if anyone here witnessed an incident that occured on the train after last nights game?
A Tigers supporter (who appeared to be quite drunk) was harassing a family of Sturt supporters on the 6.02 (ex. Adelaide) Norarlunga bound train. He was in the last carriage and he continued to yell all sorts of obsenities to the Sturt supporters infront of their children and everyone else (including Rail Staff).
The TransAdelaide Passenger Service Attendant and the Security Officer he was with that were both present in this carriage decided to do nothing and let this incident continue until the supporters in question alighted at their respective station.
If anyone has witnessed this, please let me know - as I'm contemplating forwarding a complaint to TransAdelaide and/or the Ministry of Transport for their lack of appropriate action/security measures onboard their trains.
The behaviour of this Tigers supporter is completely unacceptable and the action that TransAdelaide took is also quite poor, given that this bloke appeared prepared to escalate the conflict into a physical one given the opportunity.
cant have been too bad...

To the Glenelg supporters hiding weapons of mass destruction, to those behind cyclone Katrina and especially to those Glenelg supporters behind the sub prime crisis, shame on you. To the Central supporters that bragged about 9 prelim wins in a row, shame on you also.
To be honest Stampy I'm sick of it also, hearing about this over the last thirty years. I think any poor behaving supporters should be kicked out.
I guess I'm just lucky that over the last 35 years of going to the footy I've never copped any abuse from opposition supporters. Never copped the "how many premierships you won?" , "Get a job" (i have one) "Go home to your slum", "dirty slut" to my girlfriend, "go back to pommy land" (other supporters must originate from China or somewhere?).etc etc etc
I'm not saying it's acceptable but your'e not an orphan (I'm guessing the orphan bit).

Best thing to do as a previous poster suggested is laugh them off, however if things do get a bit heavy call security if ya can find them.
Also becuse of the outlandish prices of alcohol of course fans smuggle some in.
I for one love to fill my flask with that lovely malt nectar from the gods and add it to my $3.00 coke such a lovely beverage, but as you know i can handle it so there is no problem at all.
Apologies from the Apache and all decent Central followers.

More like, how long does it take to change security companies with all the reports about them?
it has been alleged that We'reSlow have a family connection high up in the SANFL...

Last week a bloke wasn't quite as discreet with his bottle of red however and actually got busted. Probably unfair to just pin this on Dogs' supporters however , just an observation

Wondering does anyone no who the centrals player is that will be looking left and right in the grand final after the "gutless" and "low" thing he did just before three quarter time. At least face up to a guy when he is awake and looking you in the eye, not when he is knocked out, and dont go as low as too then slam his head into the ground continuosly and knee him in the upper back.
Cant wait until a fortnights time

Zipzap I suspect I’m the guy you refer to with the cooler bag (standing on the hill just under the big screen).
What you neglected to tell listeners was that the 6 cans in question were Carlton mid-strength and all were consumed in moderation between my mate & I over the course of the afternoon. Yes smuggled into the ground at the cost of $1 per can versus the $ 4.50 odd charged over the bar for a plastic cup of beer ! A family mans way of trying to save a few dollars. If that’s such a big crime, then I’ m guilty as charged.
Your inference that this is somehow connected to bad crowd behaviour is typical Sturt suporter stereotyping. The guys who consume too much and behave unruly are more likely the ones who couldn ’t give a sh.t about blowing $100 across the bar during a game.
My guess is you were one of the Sturt weasels standing immediately behind us who had joined forces with his Glenelg crony for the day (I remember your faces well). Banding together for the day in the vain hope of a Centrals defeat and the chance to mouth off & release some frustration after last weeks depressing Sturt defeat . Sadly for you that opportunity never arose. Your abuse of Gowans for tackling the pitch invader clearly demonstrated your hatred of anything Red, White & Blue.
Hope you & your Glenelg cronies enjoy next Sunday’s game just as much !
