Is Johnathan Lee likely to get another game? Can i just get some thoughts on him from Eagle supporters as to his progress. Has been there for two years now and has only played two senior games. Is he likely to establish himself?

If I could buy in here...

I had a close look at him on the weekend against the Bays. He won a couple of taps against Trevor Cranston, but the taps weren't to advantage and the Bays cleared the ball from the centre.

He didn't seem to get much opportunity, though I don't know what his overall minutes were...Dabrowski appeared to play the lion's share of the game in ruck...

Good big men don't grow on trees, and the experts always suggest that ruckmen take longer to develop. From what I saw of him, I reakon the Eagles could do a lot worst than to persist with him...

Fitzgerald is a good in. I can't believe they have put Salter in the reserves. You can't tell me he wouldn't perform the role that a Daniel or Giuffreda would and do it about 1000 times better. Or even have him perform the role of Grocke or McGregor and have one of these guys share some ruck duties with Dabrowski (they'd offer more than Roberts or Lee). I don't see the point of swapping Roberts for Lee. Both offer as much as each other and Roberts has had plenty of opportunities, while Lee has had one. To have Daniel, Wright, Roberts and Giuffreda selected above Salter is unexplainable.

I don't think the Eagles can use the excuse of playing 48 players (or whatever the number is) when they look back on this season. Many of the selections haven't worked when there have been other choices available. Even if this team beats Norwood this week, it won't beat Port the week after.

The reserves side has some big name players in there.
If they were going to Drop Lee why not bring in young redden he could at least play up forward if needed.
No Couch this week in the two's ?

Well we know roberts can not ruck against Port(I will not forget what I watched sitting the stand last time) so will they re promte Redden or Lee ?.
Salter is a hard choice where to play him because some of those young guys are performing well .Is Salter fit ?
Giuffreda has improved in the two's the last couple of weeks not sure over Salter. But then again I dont like Nick down the backlines .

The attendance this week may be another new low for Woodville Oval, not only with the forecast, but it's up against the Crows and it's on TV!

Oh wait, there will be x amount more Norwood fans there to make up for whatever low amount of Eagles fans are there - namely mickyj and his son, myself and my dad, Aerie, cd, once_were_warriors, eddie-eagle etc.

The team selections this season has been just as bad as the recruiting!!!
The selection of Daniel is baffling - he does nothing every week and sure enough he's back in again the following week - how can Salter not get a game - absolute joke - guffreida - poor skill level honest b grader at best.

Although Daniel and Giuffreda are no certainties to be in the final 21. Salter from my viewpoint is either in the Reserves as part of recovery from injury, or is the victim of the "too many key forwards" this week. Or both.
