No, he didn't come to us for more money, South moved him on. And in fact paid some of his wage for the first year I believe.

Nope, said he's not interested in South or West.

I'd think West wouldn't be offering him anything.

Nor South

That's all you've got for me? Even Glenelg supporters don't perform late in the year. :D

Seriously folks. Good luck to Mouse wherever he goes. Great player for the Bays. Sadly the end of his career with Glenelg is what he maybe remembered for ?

I was told today "he is 95% sure to becoming a Rooster"

Hmm just what North needs - another "outside" receiver! ?

Well you havent really seen much of Brett play then have you.
He is is a tough little nut and a hard worker. Considering he is one the smallest blokes out there, he throws himself into the fray as well as providing plenty of run. Whoever gets him will get a great little player.

Read what Roy Laird said about "Mouse" in this article! No different than myt comment? (great footy minds think alike! LOL ;) !) If he comes to Prospect he will have a chance to prove me wrong but we need in and under hard nuts and I don't see that as one of Backwells strengths.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Been mentioned elsewhere but I am totally confused on why the new club has to pay a transfer fee for a player that was sacked from his club last season

I'd have him at South. I appreciate the push towards 'youth', but I can't see it hurting have one bloke who is actually 26+ and has played some very good footy in his time.
