plus hasnt the salary cap been increased by $50000 or something?

truth be known we have missed out on more than a few recruits most of who have gone to norwood cos we couldnt match the money being offered, dom barry, richard douglas just to name two, norwood rorting the salary cap season after season, good luck to them getting away with it

Apparently Glenelg are the worst in the league. I have no evidence either.

And we couldn’t get within a bulls roar of what the Bays offered Marlon Motlop around 4 year ago, swings and roundabouts, happens to all clubs regularly. On paper (and naturally I say this with respect and stress paper only), that Norwood premiership side would have been one of the most unremarkable ever. Thankfully the game isn’t played on paper and the biggest mastermind of it sat in the coaches box.

South have signed Jonti Schuback from Gippsland Power/Vic Country u/18s. Was used as a running half back early but has developed at junior level to be a midfielder/forward. He is 183 cm and 78 kg. Born in Adelaide he is the son of former Adelaide player Jacob Schuback who played for Glenelg once drafted.

I coulda sworn he played for West when drafted and was later sent to the Bays by his AFL masters ... but the old memory could be failing me.

I heard before Christmas it was a done deal however Collingwood are now trialing another tall lad, former volleyballer, and Oleg Markov. They only have one rookie spot available
