Not really SK. In the past they've gone for bigger name ex-AFL players such as Cupido and Prendergast. Been discussed plenty of times on here, Centrals and Eagles strength over the last decade has been recruiting quality people from lower comps for whom the SANFL is something to aspire to, rather than delisted AFL players who come thinking it will be easy or that footy owes them something. South went down this path last year when Fuller took over and are continuing it this year, and it will pay off in the medium-term 3-5 years IMO.

Hopefully the Eagle heading to Prospect is Banner, he wont get a league game with the Eags.

Uni + Footy is easy. Uni + Footy + Work is unlikely to happen.

I hope you're right cocko - if we can get another batch like the 2010 crew of Horne, Liddle, O'Keefe and Gotch who ALL finished in the clubs top 6 of the B&F this year, we should be highly competitive in 2011. :D

Also expect to see an Eagle land at Prospect too in the very near future.

Nathan Daniel shopped around by the Eagles looking for greater opportunities, heading to South.

Who knows - he might well do! Often a change of club brings out the best in many players who were either fringe players, had personality clashes with coaches or were just starved of opportunities. For example - Adam Grocke!

I thought he looked good this year at times, better when he played in defence than up forward.
