To the vast majority of Norwood and Centrals supporters both on the GF day and those who've posted here who have celebrated the 2010 SANFL Grand Final as an awesome exhibition of Australian Rules Football, well done. I'm still gutted we couldn't find an extra goal or two in the third quarter that I reckon would have stood us in good stead in the last quarter.

Given where we were after four rounds of the year I'm still pinching myself we got within a kick of winning the whole thing. It appears that Bassett does have a clue.

To the tiny minority of Centrals fans who are revelling in an opposition players injury, you are beneath contempt. Congratulations to the vast majority of Centrals fans who have pointed this out.

Well said Topsy, but to be honest, for it to be recognised truly as a turnaround year of merit, we must stand up again next year just as Centrals have proven over the last 10 years, they are the benchmark to which we must first aspire and then overcome.

Cheers,

It will be interesting to see if Norwood can.
The problem with becoming a good side is you see so many players come to the attention of AFL scouts.
I hope Norwood can stay up there for next year.
The rivalry of the past two seasons has been fantastic and hopefully will be sustained.

Hate to get technical on you, but you were a kick from a draw.......

And nobody should ever take joy in someone getting hurt. Being physical is a part of the game and I'm sure Callinan's intention was to be a physical presence, perhaps just slow him down a bit, but certainly never to inflict a serious injury.

Agreed. You'd have to be a complete tool to do that.

Sorry to rub it in ADELAIDE DORK!

"I heard at Elizabeth Oval on Grand Final night they used a pair of Jason McKenzie's underpants as a tarpaulin, and were able to shelter 500 people.

Just as an aside, I work with this guy who claims to be a Central supporter. I've always suspected he knew stuff all about footy, and when he came in gloating about the win, I said I thought Ken Eustice, Tom Grljusich and Ric Vidovich were their best players. He said, "They played really well", I replied, "They sure did ... back in the 1960s"

You can always tell a Central supporter ... but you can't tell them much."

spanner.

I believe the cuwwent wejection of your wequisition is pwecisely appwopwiate in this occuwwance.

May I suggest wequesting access to another clubs site and cwucify them with your wabid wemarks.

Dogwatcher, you would know that Norwood are very much a traditional club, ask any Port Magpie supporter
no matter where we are on the ladder Port/Centrals/Norwood and you cross the white line it's game on. :ymdevil:

We have taken the Dogs as a real foe that to win against anytime is a "real win of Character" so, expect nothing
less of us as we will of you into the future.

Anyone, whatever their persuasion in any aspect in life, who wants to mock others or groups in respect to receiving benefits should be careful, because you never know what lies ahead and the same unfortunate honour may be placed upon them down the track.

The banter is all in fun, it isn't meant to be personal, and when I've heard supporters and they're in the absolute minority refer to Centrelink in regards to your supporters, they need to have a good look and should be ashamed of themselves.

And yes perhaps it should be 'Cwub'

From General Discussion
Re: Which safooty posters would you like to meet and why?
pafc1870 wrote:
Question: Any idea why SABRE stopped posting?

Answer: Some say he looked at a photo of his wife, then painted a target
on his roof and stood there all Winter with a lightning rod in his hand.

Others say he spat the dummy and stopped posting because a certain well
known entity on this forum said untrue things about Norwood on his own club’s
forum despite knowing about the official denials on the subject by the SANFL.

Still others say he’s such a d1ckhe@d that he forgot his flamin’ password and that
he’s getting so bloody old, he can’t even read his own eff’n keyboard anymore !!!

It could be any of the above, but sadly, the truth is that Fort Battle-Axe has had me
locked in the dungeon for giving her phone number to Ian Callinan.
I honestly wished them true happiness together.
Ian deserves her because of his perfectly fair hit on Simon Phillips just when Flipper
usually kicks a couple in the last quarter. And she deserves him for the number of
times she’s been reported to The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Husbands,
and to the U.N. for ‘crimes against humanity’ by simply existing.

No, no, it’s quite ok. I’m sure that I’m over the Grand Final. I’m sure that I’m not bitter at all.
<crunch>
And I’m sure Toshiba will give me a new laptop when I show them the toothmarks on this one.

Of course I’m just as sure that ‘Hoges’ will win his lawsuit against the Australian Tax Office
and that Norwood is now unbackable to win the 2011 flag by 20 goals despite losing half
the bloody team !!!

Yeah, yeah, everything’s just eff’n peachy in Sabreville! Thanks for asking.

p.s. Honestly, thanks for the lovefest guys. Very much appreciated.

This is definitely a 'Fenech moment' …….”I luv youse all 2!”
