Greeny won the first medal in 1898
So in 112 years of medals NA players have won the medal an astonishing 21 times
And more if you add up the players who started with NA and won for another club

Squire is the last player to win 2 medals in the SANFL and guess where he started

Congrats to James - Dual Magarey Medal Winner and some "experts" on the site still don't rate him  I mean, we can all be parochial at times but lets give credit where it is due.
Congrats also to Adelaide Now - The presentation vastly exceeded my expectations and I appreciated their efforts immensely. Also glad to report, (with basic technology), faultless transmission.
Now- maybe I'm showing my age a bit here - but some of the comments directed at various people involved with the presentation were downright disgraceful. Particularly on a site where posts can be deleted for the most bizarre and petty reasons. Some of those responsible might want to reconsider their definition of "feral" next time their team loses and an opposition supporter looks at them the wrong way..
Anyway - rant over. Cant wait for Sunday.
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

Squire X 2

Plus Atkinson, A Jarman, G McAdam

= 26 we win!

Yeah true but all clubs could claim "what ifs" I suppose!

ie Peter Darley, dirty Stephen Kernahan, mongrel Garry McIntosh etc

Well done to Allan. No doubt a gun player, would love him at the Eagles. Also well done to Adelaide Now. Only switched on about 9.30 but the coverage was as good as you get on tv. The medal isn't the same though without Max Basheer saying Cennal District.

Yeah Squawk only wanted top 5 or 6 from each club. ;)

Ronaldson 3, Piasente 3, Bricknell 2, Chubb 1 were West's other vote getters. ;)

Congratulations to James Allan, well deserved. I was under the illusuion that Allan wasn't in such form this season, but this was based mainly on his two matches against Norwood where he seemed to struggle. Once I heard the comment that he thought his season was better than 2007, I had a feeling he would win.

Very pleased with how the Norwood players fared, but the system is still flawed when you consider that after the brilliant season Kieran McGuinness has had, to think he polled no votes at all is quite ridiculous.

Amazing performance by Jimmy as could easily have won the B&F in his comp 5 years running with only injury stopping him in 2006 from winning the Liston as well as injury in 2008 and umpires that had no idea in the last 3 rounds last year.
Congratulations Jimmy Allan.

PS There will be more talk if a leak after last night, wouldn't be suprised if sportsbet never take money on it again.
