It is interesting that the two clubs that voted NO both sit comfortably at the bottom of the Under 18's ladder. Any correlation?

I am ok with the decision. There are many idealists among us.

Isn't Fitzroy his old club? Would Rowey be smart enough to know that?

I thought the idea of the Dogs and South playing for the Integrity cup was sensational.
If the clubs market it well, we could pick up all the people that have been most shafted by this decision, the loyal supporters from other clubs that dont wish to renew their memberships.
It could turn into the biggest SANFL game on the calendar and it would give a chance for all of us to say **** you, see what could have been. Imagine 6-10000 at one of these games. It could be the one game that everyone makes their plans around and makes sure they dont miss it. Have the U18's play at the same venue as well.
Sat night game at Elizabeth with U18's starting about midday.

Lets get around it!!!

I'm in.

Happy to donate money to help promote/ cash prize etc.

Let's form a committee. :D

It is a good idea. South might actually win it for the first time in about 2019, given we haven't beaten the Dogs in 7 years. 8)

Yeah, but you know how it is. Fitzroy is the Lions, there is no Brisbane in The V AFL. Fitzroy just play up there ;)

Well done Centrals and South. Time to let both clubs know how much support they have. Please take the time to email them.

I couldn't find an email address for South. Maybe a South supporter could post it?

And maybe for one game a year we can get the guys on here that hate the decision but have vowed to keep supporting their club to come. Come in their club colours if they wish and make a real point to the rest of the SANFL.
Would love to see 10 000 at Elizabeth again, dont know how Nourlunga would cope with that, keep the cars out i guess. Obviously it would be rotational to allow both clubs to enjoy the spoils

Dogs vote was because not enough information was provided to base a decision on.

There really isn't any information, it's not secret or for directors eyes only... It doesn't exist.

So whats the chance the Magpies get the bullet in the next couple of weeks?

Surely the Power won't let the Crows have a reserve team next year without them in it too?

Pretty sure that requires 12 months notice from either party to happen, to allow for zone changes etc.

Sorry if it's been answered but us the $50K p.a. 'windfall' to each club over and above what the Crows might be paying to be free of their SANFL shackles or is that it?

That is hardly a windfall and is for fielding a side in the SANFL, nothing to do with licence transfers
