Um excuse me how can someone be an out in 2010 if they were an out in 1993 and haven't been back since in an official capacity....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Good point, BP, I think you need to remove Kym Hodgeman as an out from the Bays.

Mickyj throughout the season you have sung the praises of Cheep while the rest of the eagles supporters (and probably other supporters as well) have been scratching our heads wondering why on earth you think he is good enough to play league and in particular why you think he should be on our list this year. You go on and on about his toughness. That is garbage. He is a bantam weight who doesn't do any damage. But more importantly he DOES NOT FIND THE BALL. Why do you continually overlook that? He is not quick, not particularly good disposal and was brought over here as our big recruit. He should be cut quickly and the money used to attract the gun onballer we need.

Sorry for the late reply Mr Fuller
Yep you are correct and why are u correct .Firstly he told the club what type of player he was and your name sake named him as the "marque player".Ron fullers words not mine I was at the meet coach and players night in 09.
Secondly your name sake Ron Fuller only played him in his correct SANFL league spot ONCE.And that was on the wing against south and the exact number of positions he got was either 30 or in the 30's.
Ron has a habit of playing guys out of positions .
Toughness I watched Crow/Rooster DAVIS punch him 3 or 4 time and he returned fire and Davis gave up.
Lets give him 2010 and if he doesnt improve move him on .Dont forget some guys take a year to settle in others like the Gowans walk right in and star

I might quoted the wrong person its either Mr Fuller or Feret ;)
And Feret ddin't tackle me last night .But CD offered me a spot on a bike lol

if "God" only takes the eagles to 8 our of the next 9 final series, even with all these "gun recruits" that you are so critical that Fuller refused to bring in; will you then also bag the crap out of him at every opportunity?

I bagged Fuller after 08 Bunton get your facts correct.
I was a fan of Ron and even had arguments with other Eagles fans at Glenelg oval defending him.mind u Loud Eagle holigan(or his mate) put me in my place in person(for a comment I made on here) as well which was good for me
Eagles have made the finals 14 out the last 15 years .Would have been 15 from 15 but for some very strange selections last game of 08.

Goad me all u like(which is what u r doing or trying) .But Ron was good for the Eagles up to a point. When that point was reached(some say after the huge gf loss or the flag in 06) he should have either stepped aside or moved to another club .
How can I write this without upsetting people .I will try this.Moves made in 06 that lead to the flag have been credited to his assistants Mcgowan and Norman.I was told this by both their fathers.
Also heard recently that many moves made in 09 were by Jefferies .
Not saying a lot for your senior coach but you managed to get the move making assistant in jefferies. And I had high hopes for Mark but his temper can not be kept under control ,pity as I thought he could take the next step. And seeing he is employed by the panthers that may come six weeks in ;) .Seeing Jefferies can coach an almost afl style game good luck.

Now lets look at Ron not bringing in "GUN RECRUITS".
Being part time he had to leave it others a good scapegoat if it failed seeing "GOD" is full time .Its far easier for "GOD" to bring in your so called "GUN RECRUITS".As he is full time and he can talk to them himself
And yes I am talking up the Eagles why 1 I am watching them week by week.Secondly I love wrestling in my very own way I am trying to bring some pazzazzzzz to footy in the off season.
And if this brings more Eagle fans out then that's the better .
We have plenty of room in "GODS EAGLE ARMY"

And BUNTON to quote a famous hardcore wrestler that shares my first name in MICK
HAVE A NICE DAY BANG BANG BUNTON
ps
If u wanna goad oops ;) I mean talk in person oval ave I sit in the jarman stand thebbie training I sit in the newer grand stand

So the fathers of the assistant coaches in 2006 say it was their son's moves that won it?

Must be so, then :D

absolute rubbish!.......there are over 100 moves in a game these days.....players are expected to play anywhere at any given time......assistants are there to assist and advise.......the coach has the final say.....some moves come off others don't!

to bag a coach on rumours is poor!

Just on rumours CCL dont think so .
Personally I have missed one game since 07 .
Funny three different people who have been Rons assistants all claim to be making moves .
If theres smoke their fire CCL are 3 people all lying and two have gone on to be coaches who beat Ron .
And its not just rumours CCL
I have watched so many footy games .I have seen the team ebb and flow .If u couldn't see the last two years of Rons tenure that the team didnt go forward your blind mate.
And dont tell me Parry at South doesn't smell like Rugolo at oval ave.
Can u defend leaving a player in the seconds who was kicking bags of goals because he went to a family memebers wedding!!
Look its my opinion like or lump it .

I just the eagles to go forward in 2010

I like to think the club recruiting early was being proactive rather than reactive .

did you sit in the coaches box in 2006?

I did.......and i saw everything unfold and who was the boss and what you are saying is absolute rubbish!

maybe Mick Godden should made aware to watch what he says to certain people who attend training and sit near coaches on match days to be weary of them due to the knives that will come out sooner or later......

there u go I've been put in my place ;) But the fathers did tell me that and thats the truth.
No hard feelings CCL

But at least in "GOD" we have a coach with no affiliation to West Torrens or Woodville .
Means much less knives ;)

Once again no hard feelings CCL
Come and have a chat one day .And Im not holden so I wont continue the fight .

Cheers

Looks like the Internal Bickering Cup has moved from South to the Eagles. Maybe Parry took it with him when he left [-o<

No bickering here Bunton
As I said I ain't going on with it .
Just typed what I was told by 2 family members of assistants. And yep they told me at the footy.
And what I wrote about Godden being from outside the club is a very big plus from the board for me .
