Just need to get rid of the AFL in the SANFL and move them back to their normal slots 2 weeks later which will add 5 to 10k to the crowd and its all good.

The hill was rocking in the last quarter yesterday, was a kick back to the 90's on the northern hill at Elizabeth and why I fell in love with Centrals

Bandwagons are good. It gets bigger crowds to games.
As for your own farts being good, I'd have to disagree with this too :(

If Centrals make it and they wernt available i would pay to go, but I wont need to do that now will I. How does that help the SANFL and its clubs?

Give the freebie to someone who wouldn't normally go and pay for your ticket in the conventional way
Win, win
Crowds go up
SANFL and, hopefully, your club get some revenue

No. 24,207 in 2004. Dogs won by a handy 125 points.

Given that Centrals have far more supporters than Westies the SANFL would have been pretty pleased with the crowd today.

I did find it really disappointing that there were at least a couple of people hanging around outside the entrance to the ground today who were trying to offload the free tickets they had come by (either through schools or local footy clubs). But instead of offering them for free, they were trying sell them off to make a profit!!! Pretty low act I thought.

By comparison the VFL GF had about 22k at Etihad today and the WAFL GF drew 13k

Was a week later this year which makes it the same weekend as the Perth show. Also a long weekend and hosting 2 AFL finals may have hurt a little but its not great what ever way you look at it. Only got 12k last year but had about 30mm of rain on GF day for memory.
