Kite if he comes with the right attitude will be a very handy pick-up.
Great that McGregor wants to play, but jury is out on whether he can again with a year out and not being the quickest player before that.
Raymond - presuming Godden has been involved with him in the past? A real outside bet I would have thought - Izaac Thompson, Bolton twins, Mackie, Couch over the last few years.
Still need a really quick player or two losing Cheep, Polec and Smith.

what are norf doin? They've traded up an old, overweight bloke that struggled to hold his spot in the bottom side last year, for two locally produced, highly capable young lads that are still a few years away from their best footy.

Wundke would be a great pick up imho for South (if he can stay fit). Was performing extremley well in the VFL while on North Melbournes list, kicked around 70 goals for the season?

Obviously struggled last year but so would have Buddy Franklin in Norths forward line.

Also think Stribling would be handy, while not a star he would compliment there midfield nicely and could be used on a wing, half back flank or even run with player.

A tad unfair,

His disposal frustrates supporters but i dont think any supporters question his commitment or attack on the ball.

His got along way to go until he has the same love as the Westoffs

I don't think that's the case, Dutchy.
Most now know his poor form two years ago was caused by an undiagnosed illness. I think he's well liked and respected by all at the club. Supporters and players alike.

I never said he wasnt liked, you would have to be deaf not to hear some of the comments directed at him by Dogs fans in the past 2 years.

I'm sure if you listened to EVERY club's fans, there are certain players who cops criticism more so than others...

Ryan probably WAS one of them at Central but has improved out of sight in the last few seasons, came 5th in their B&F this year...

He may not be the MOST loved player (a spot reserved probably for either Chris or James Gowans) however he is pretty high up there in the admiration of fans. Yes, he had a poor period two years ago (due to illness) but he had a great year this year that won him the admiration of even those fans who gave him a hard time a couple of years back.
Cheers

Is the Williams that is going to the bays, Dylan Williams from South.

The lad who quit south because he was getting dropped to the 2s.

We haven't signed Handby yet and if we do he has been told what is required to play League in 2011.

As for overweight blokes = M. Wundke. Tried to go to South at the beginning of 2010 because he was too lazy to get himself in shape and fit. His consistent run with injury caused by his off field excesses was why he only played 3 games last year. Plus he "pouted" over not getting the $$$ he wanted as he thought he deserved coming off an AFL list. Considering he didn't play an AFL league game it was a wise move by the Football Department IMHO. God player but needs to get his head in the game.

As for Stribling - handy as a negating tagger but North supporters cringed everytime he got the ball - he would have easily led the SANFL in clangers, found more of the opposition than his team mates this year.

If they don't wan't to be at North then let them go!
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Media Release
Player retirements

Glenelg Football Club today confirmed the retirements of four of its 2010 League players in
Josh Carr, Matthew Bode, Wayde Mills and Josh Willoughby.
After 87 games for the Bays, Club icon Bode recently declared it was time to hang up the
boots once and for all following a first attempt at retirement at the end of 2008.
Carr who has played 43 games for Glenelg since 1999 has also retired to pursue his career in
the finance sector.
Mills recruited from Brisbane in 2009 accumulated 43 games in his two seasons has decided
to return to home to Queensland to concentrate on his university course.
Josh Willoughby has decided to focus on his expanding family in 2011.
Football Manager Ken Applegarth said the Club was sad to lose such experience but was
equally as enthusiastic at the opportunity this will create for a number of the Club’s talented
younger players coming through the system.
“These four have all contributed enormously to the Glenelg Football Club both on and off the
field and we take this opportunity to wish them success in their future endeavours,” he said.
Whilst Mills will returning to Queensland, the Club is certainly hopeful that Willoughby may
return in future years as a player and will not rule out Carr or Bode returning at some stage in
the future in a non-playing capacity.
Applegarth added, “Not only could these men play the game, they at all times displayed
outstanding leadership qualities and always represented the Glenelg Football Club in the most
professional manner.”
