Agree that was a shocker, and the ump could clearly see Callinan was holding the ball under the Norwood player.
Bought the DVD today (now got all 9 premierships on DVD) and had a good look at this incident:
1. Duigan had just received a handball and was tackled and brought to ground.
2. Left arm was pinned by the tackle. Has the ball tucked underneath his right arm.
3. Decides to have a nap and wait for the umpires whistle to ball it up.
4. Hears nothing and then decides to atleast do something.
5. As soon as he starts moving, Callinan puts his hand on the ball, stopping it from moving.
6. Pinged "holding the ball"!
Pretty hot decision. I probably would of called "ball up"...
