He had reached agreement with another SANFL club but Port would not come to the party no matter what the transfer fee being offered, they'd rather crush him into a cube than trade him in.

Has agreed to play for a WAFL club if not redrafted.


Is that true? Pretty ugly thinking if so.

if that happened which sanfl club would he be assigned to ?
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

According to the tiser, which is probably incorrect as usual, they offered Meiklejohn a chance to train with the squad, however he is overseas and unable to do so!

The Magpies are rich, South's just paid them $11K for a player Port didn't want and burnt, Josh Taylor. Someone's made a mistake!

Is this the 190cm key position player that Port spent most of last year trying to get back from Gepps Cross?

South are said to have got $70K for 2 players they did not want!

What say we wait and see how all these guys go before we start barring up at the prospect that "someone may have made a mistake"?

PS - the $20K I have been reliably advised South got for Chris Hall is looking like a pretty good outcome now!
