I was seduced by Norths form this time last year and lumped some money on them to win the flag. Wont be doing that again!

Ferguson is Westies most valuable player with his ability to play both ends on the ground and take contested marks. Cant see West winning this one without him and his leadership

Use to really enjoy the battles he and Alleway would have in years gone by.

Never bet on North to win what they should win, any North punter will tell you that!!

Lewis Johnson in a race to get up in time for the game on Sun. Ferguson an unlikely starter for westies.

Lewis Johnson was over 90% fit last week, if it was up to him and North he would have played then, he should be in this week unless the Cows are playing games again

Not according to his own FaceBook page. Lewis had written that the ankle was still too sore to play last week...

Trust me he was keen to play last week but the Cows said No due to the bruising turning yellow.

Probably saving face with that comment. He's not going to bite the hand that feeds him. Obviously wanted to play but is hardly gonna call the Crows out on it on facebook.

In reality, is any team able to beat Norwood in the GF? If the Roosters roll West this week....maybe..based on momentum and belieft etc. If West win, I can't see Collins changing the game style to win ala last year.

North or West can both beat Norwood. West (other than last week) have had close hard games with Norwood this year and North beat Norwood earlier in the year. When Norwood did beat North recently it was in the middle or North's loosing streak.

Of course Norwood are hot favourites but in a two horse race with lots at stake anything is possible.

But first either North and West need to win and from what I've seen North should win easily as they can score very quickly when they get going. West steadied after quarter time last week but there didnt seem to be any spark there which is what you need in finals.

I can't see Westies winning without Ferguson and I can't see Westies risking him if he isn't anywhere near 100%.

North in a canter.

has everyone forgotten Norths first 2 and a bit Quarters from last Sunday!!?? they we're awful!
If the Eagles had played anywhere near their best they would have killed the Chooks.

If North make turnovers like they did in the first half last week, with less then poor skills, teams that press and rebound like West and Norwood will make them pay unlike the Eagles.

Yes, their Last Quarter and Bit we're VERY good, but they will have to bring 3 to 4 Quarters of that type of footy to beat West or Norwood!

Article on Nathan Gordon in today's Advertiser
Discussed more or less was all about Nathans aspirations to get re drafted.
Not one mention about an aspiration to play and win a SANFL Premiership.
I wish journos would include the SANFL in articles that go for such a duration.
If they don't, sometimes, like today's article it can make the player look selfish in using the SANFL as a stepping stone
