Disappointing we took our foot off their throat and starting lairising, kicked 6.14 after 1/4 Time and missed some absolute sitters. Scoreboard flattered West, should of been a 100+ margin. Thommo, Grigg and Suckling were awesome today, dodnt think we had too many passengers today. Will be cheering on Westies next week. I believe their were 2 Westies reported today, any confirmation on this?
And thanks to Collins for providing some ammunition during the week, I know a few of the guys were not impressed at all on his dig at Georgiou, maybe wise to worry about his own side and especially their lack of discipline

Replayed on 5aa to Nathan Bassett post match.

Would love to be able to post a link for it on here.

Has to be heard to be believed.

He gave Norwood 'feedback' apparently

What a bumbling fool!

Listened to the show as usual. Pretty pathetic of Collins to crack the sads and not show up as arranged. Left the Westies Football Manager to jump in the deep end and he pretty much drowned.

Just give the flag to Norwood now.
This is so boring one team dominating the competition like this.

It's not good for the competition to have one team dominating like this.

Norwood's dominance the reason crowds are down? :D

Look, flags won now aren't worth as much as those won in the early 2000s.

Would hope not. Norwood has one of the biggest bandwagons going. There will be a ripper grand final crowd, surely?

Anything above 30k is a win for the GF.
Anything above 26k is ok.
Anything below will have us SANFL devotees asking questions.

How many times are West going to bring this up.
30 scoring shots today, had we kicked straight the margin would of been 100+
We scored more in 1 quarter than what you did in the whole game.
The last 3 quarters were boring because we put the cue in the rack.
At least your improving, last 3 finals against us you have kicked 2,3 and now 6 goals

The only thing I was pointing out that Norwood play a defensive style to. Pretty straight forward. I wouldn't get too ahead of yourself, It would be embarassing if you lost the GF after all this chest beating.

No chest beating in Jim's post no matter how much you wish it were so, just a line by line dismantling of your 'theories'.

Granted, Norwood have a strong defensive emphasis in their game style, much like many AFL sides do, but they still manage to keep players forward of centre and kick goals in the conventional manner, a forward leading up at the ball not the "out the back" style we now see lots of.

On the other hand, West play ultra-defensive for a bulk of the game and then try and open it up to score "out the back" and win. As they did against Port a few weeks back and the Eagles last week. Clearly this doesn't work against Norwood and Collins is a slow learner.

North will struggle to counter the 14 man defence that West will front them with but I expect weight of numbers will see North kick enough to beat the Bloods. Lets, for the sake of the GF, hope so.

You're actually applauding this fishing trip? Three times he had to fling the line into the water and all he caught was SDK. He'd have to throw that one back surely.
