If power lose Friday night and Stewart doesn't play for them he won't be able to play Sunday for the Eagles, as he did not qualify during the minor round. It appears at this stage Heath, Mitchell and Salter will be playing on Sunday, further finals for these three have to be negotiated.

Why wouldn't. Stewart be allowed to play? Cockroach for central was allowed to play in a GF and he didn't qualify

This comp has all the integrity of a politician!
Gayfl players in? Or are they pulled to go on holidays like Heath next week!
It's a JOKE and always has been to be fair.
We have never been in favour of any of them being played because of the clubs always giving these Gayfl lads every opportunity then for finals having some of them pulled out when fit and qualified.
AND next year we get more Gayfl shite to rule over us like the serfs we are, wonderful

Mick Godden said on FiveAA last night that Campbell Heath wont be playing for the Eagles next week, or beyond, as he has had a long season and the Eagles and Power agreed yesterday would be his last game of SANFL this year.

Did Matty Wright not get cleared to play finals?

Hope for his sake neither the Power or their sandpit side aka the Magpies make finals next year.

If he is to play deep into any finals series the season will be even longer again.

Not a crack at the player at all, just the "system".

What a joke.

He pulled out of the Norwood game with a sore toe, that was going to be his 5th game to qualify. Didn't qualify for finals.

Explain again the benefit Port Adelaide will get from letting our player play finals for another club?

Explain the benefit when he has to play football into October and is due back at Pre-Season training in November and still has to have the minimum amount of time off under the AFLPA agreement..... :?

There is no benefit any more. But it is nice to know there are some pea-hearted players on your list.

Heater, isn't the SANFL GF to be before the AFL GF in the future? ( Therefore making your point 100% invalid )

I thought he was pretty good for his adopted club yesterday. Oh, and he isn't on Mad Monday as you so expected. The PAFC boys had a very low key break up, mindful of the circumstances the players were fronted with this time last year.

I rated him our 3rd best player yesterday, but we didn't win did we. Takes more than talent to make it. He has had some shockers this year. He'll be the perfect Reserves player for you next year. The Magpies will be full of that type.

Thought this was the original idea, but have since heard conflicting stories.
Would be just another small indicator of the SANFL, Crows and Power hierarchy being out of touch with the whole footy picture if they forced this through IMO.

Yes, they will be full of our excess AFL listed players. Thats the system your club voted to adopt.

Exactly the same benefit he'd get from playing in the finals* for your sandpit side next year.

You know - something about playing to the line or something.

It's pretty sad when Port thinks that playing into mid September makes the season too long for a player.

Just pathetic.
