I'm hearing an extension at Glenelg is almost guaranteed for Massie, they are just negotiating how many free Latte's Massie will receive for next season. ;)

The alarming thing is the reserves and U18 are bottom or near bottom as well.
Need some sort of rescue package for sure as it seems RF is not the answer and he is a proven premiership coach.

No point throwing out the line if there's no bait on the hook ...

Match Report
There is not a lot to report apart from the fact that Nick Liddle is a wonderful competitor.
He was one player who refused to give in or want to play the game on his terms.
From a zone point of view I do believe that Keegan Brooksby, Jake Veide, Tarak Redigolo, Caleb Daniel and Nick Murphy showed they can be good local players who have a passion for their club to be successful.
They also competed and although they are a small group we can build from these players who have a real desire for the club to be better.
Ron Fuller.

Was probably Murph's best game since relinquishing the captaincy. Thought he was looking a bit disinterested mid year but he's someone that we need to stand up next season.

I'd love to know what Fuller's plans are (or would be) for Snook and in particular Ah Chee next year. Can't get a winning culture going when you've got blokes coasting along racking up league games they would otherwise not get elsewhere.

Yeah agree Scott not a fan of picking up reserves players from other Sanfl Clubs over giving local lads from our zone a go. For the odd player like Wundke it works but generally u don't get much bang for your buck!!!!

Ron's match reports have been very subdued in the last half of the year (since the club statement about coaches and players taking responsibility). Something like the mindset of a man that knows what's coming....

We've been imploding for a long long time!!!
Those who think its not the coach to blame must have rocks in their head!
The buck stops with coach, be it fair or not! I've been to most games this year and a couple in particular proved to me that the players and I mean the whole team were simply not giving a $hit! To me that simply means either they are lazy good for nothing so and so's or they just don't get or respect the coaches philosophies.
How can it be the past captain and current captain are playing so poorly and they are both good players??
Why is it Darcy Hourigan, Immanuel Irra and Tod Mackay play reserves over other underachieving players??
The team can be turned around for the better but not with the current set up!

This has been happening all year and I do not get it!!!!

3 good local lads too! I have been saying for weeks that Hourigan should be in and look at the reserves this week....6 goals.

The selection this year has been baffling to say the least. Ron playing his little favorites who are so out of form it ain't funny!!

I think personally local talent do not want to play for South.....all the players I speak too are getting too much $$$$ playing in the SFL or GSFL. Minimal training and playing with their mates.

I have not idea how we can change it....but what worries me is the likes of Cross, Wunks, Lids, Crabby looking for better pastures elsewhere, We need to retain these guys!

The recruiting for the past 2 years has IMO been shocking.....many duds that would hardly get a game in a country side. Also usual good players right down in form does not help (will not name them...but Southee's know who they are!)
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

Geez if Crossey, Lids, Wunks and Crabby leave u might as well close the doors!!!!!! Liddle and Cross probably 2 of the best interstate recruits the club has ever recruited.

Southee do you think we are more likely to keep these players if we have a new coach?
