The only time they got gifted a GF was in 2010 when Flipper got decked, would be tantamount to Norwood being up by 7 points and Wingnut getting decked early in the final quarter ;)

Cheers,

different, Flipper wasn't contributing at all, We were on the way back into the game & Wingnut put in a ripper of a game! Anyway, what did your OTHER 17 players do that day? Or were you all reliant on Flipper. (and MONSFAW)

Shame it has to be on at the same time as the Crows game and in not-so-perfect weather but this should be a close game, albeit a low-scoring one. West would I think need to be a couple clear at 3QT because I see Norwood running it out better. West have a lot of stars but they're mainly in the back 50. Schmidt, MacCreadie etc. will all need to be in top form to supply the forward line with enough opportunity to score 10 or 12 goals. I think Norwood's pressure over four quarters will give them the win tomorrow...Redlegs by 13 points.

Says a lot more about West Adelaide than it does about Norwood.

And do not include comparing remarks about Centrals they earned respect from all SANFL clubs including Norwood for sometime to come, all of us have to win 10 Premierships in 12 years before you can think of comparison of any form.

If you didn't see the Doggies dismantle the Eagles last week you are in for a shock when you come up against them anytime soon.

Cheers,

Anzac day game... Interesting that you would even reference that. It was more of a missed opportunity for West than a domination by Norwood. Without the need to dig up archealogical facts, all I am saying is you are a team that can be beat and are not intimidating, more relying on failures of the opponent than a convincing style of football ala Central.

Norwood The Kings Of Defensive Football. Don't worry about Westies being negative, just look at the premiership table and the points for and against.

However, Norwood have never been good enough to be 7 points in front of Central in the last quarter of a Grand Final!! ;)

Maybe our forwards are just less efficient than yours. Think you will find we have the most inside 50's out of anyone, its just we dont score from them as much as we would like

Yeah... why would you bother to refer to the last meeting of these teams 5 rounds ago...
Lucky for us we could rely on your failings in the 2nd half on ANZAC day and for 2 finals last year.

As I said we are not playing as good as we could yet we have only lost 2 games like north and west. north beat us in play yet we had 4 for scoring shots kicking a heap of points, eagles beat us with a stacked afl side by 30 odd points with us again kicking badly for goal. As for west supporters talking about norwood being two defensive look @ our total shots for goal this year compared to your's and i bet the only 2 reasons you have scored more points is because you have kicked straighter at goal and played one more game than us and not because we play your grand final style footy of only trying to stop anybody from scoring including yourselves. This proves my point about playing attacking footy Nwd 99 goals and 99 points 198 scoring shots. west 124 goals 75 points 199 scoring shots and yet you have played one more game than us.

There might be a bit of feeling in this one , I'm gonna boogie down to the industrial waste land feeling quite confident, I also might take a maxi-pad I'm predicting a mega flood. The NORWOOD side is starting to take shape (still missing some handy players). Its true we aren't the team of last year , but if we can get our best together at the business end we'll shit it in. : :D

Might watch a bit of this on TV, hopefully West don't stuff up the potential spectacle like they usually do against other sides near the top of the ladder.

Shit it in. haha.... optimistic. Good luck with your visit to the "wasteland". Be sure not to park your 1990 model C class across any drive ways. Norwood will lose my friend but it won't mean anything until the big dance... Just bragging rights for a few months.
