South won't be terminating Ron's 5 year contract which expires at the end of next season because it doesn't need to or want to. Regardless of where we end up this season, (which looks to be bottom 2 at this early stage) the club acknowledges the work Ron does throughout the entire club and given we are coming from a long way back is regonised as a 5 year project in putting zones, schools, coaching, recruiting etc in place. Besides all that the club cannot afford to payout the contract both financially (tough fiscal times ahead for which the club is already taking measures to address) and for the sake of overall continued club stability.

NOr should they! Andy Collins has undertaken a similar role at westies and it does take a lot of time and years to change cultures and get things to work across all levels of a club
