As did Port who failed to turn up last week.
It is a good point though, but if our second half fade outs are a consequence of fitness, then it would suggest we are almost unstoppable when fit. There are too many other factors though: last week, rain after half time. Last year we played in patches, some late in the game, which suggests mental rather than fitness. Last night we were all over them up to midway 3rd quarter, from that point on they got something like 11 or 12 goals to our 4 and scored with greater ease the longer the game went. Definitely suggests we ran out of legs, I'm wondering how much the extra 2 day break influenced that. I guess if it's fitness it'll keep happening for at least a few more weeks; mental, and it'd happen in the first half, and or mid game also. Time will tell.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

I wonder what impact Burgess has had on the fitness of the One Port boys?

Especially with a couple of them training with the Power pre-season.

Who was responsible for the boundary lines, centre square and 50 metre lines? They did not look to have been done since last week.

I heard we got a good deal on the oval. Maybe it was the no frills special?
Jokes aside, if what I've read is true, deeply appreciate what Norwood provided to Sturt regarding the deal.

Too late now, but another (small) reason why the SANFL should have been pushing to keep Adelaide Oval as a medium-sized ground and build another stadium in the western end.

The SANFL have absolutely no say in that.

I was thinking that's what the SANFL strategic thinking in 2005-8 when we were getting good finals crowds at Adelaide Oval. Understand they didn't have much say in it once the SACA and AFL got into bed.
