Yep all buying their new scarves under the grandstand at AAMI ( like GF2010) pulling them out of the packets, round their necks creases still intact.....hilarious

Don't like it either but have seen plenty of " supporter" from both participating teams buying scarves at GFs, even Doggies ones!!!

Hope for 25k plus but really who cares other's opinions, the only post making sense is Wedgie saying enjoy the week NORWOOD & WEST supporters, because IT IS our week!!

And we will win by 69 points, it's IN THE BAG!!!!!! ;)

Norwoods game to lose....if they dont win, they have wasted a dominant season.
And now, after a decade of bitching, all you neutrals have a Doggies-free grand final, so everybody that has moaned previously has better be there and get the crowd past 35k, or all your whining will have been for nought, and when we return next season you will have no leg to stand on re crowd size.

Like most of us I don't want to see that ultra defensive - BS next Sunday. As all of the Norwood v West games have been broadcast this year, (gee thanks ABC TV - SA!) (while we're at it, it so seemed that Port had pretty much 2/3rds of their season Broadcast on the ABC TV game, Please explain!!!!!) We've all had our chance to judge them. So I'm sticking with Norwood for the League Premiers. I think they play much like the Sydney Swans. They have a decent attack, and by far and away the best defence in the competiton this year. West on the other hand were statistically the least attacking side in the competition over the minor round. Plus any side that is a record 5 games clear as minor premiers for the year, should take out the big one! Norwood to win by at least 4 goals.

As far as the Reserves go, the contest at the Parade in July was dominated for most of it by the Dogs, but they didn't lock the game away. Letting the Redlegs back in, to get over the line by a few points. It could be the opposite result next Sunday! Here's hoping the Bulldogs do. Can anyone let us know if a side has won the Reserves Premiership before from the Elimination Final. I know it's happened twice in League ranks, Norwood 1984 and Port 1998, but I don't know about the Reserves. Can someone post! Cheers.

West Torrens did in 1990. Pretty sure there has been others too.
Enjoy watching the reserves Grand Final as you get to see other teams players that you don't often get to, and there is always one or two that show their emerging class with the pressure on and you know they'll become league or AFL players.

My main disappointment so far is that we don't get to beat Centrals in the GF. Might have been almost as good as beating Port.

That's about all you've got at the moment isn't it, a huge spike in merch sales for an opposition team. :D

Good luck to West and Norwood and for the SANFLs sake I hope for a 30k + crowd. From my perspective both clubs can play an excellent brand of footy. Wests last 2 games against Centrals, they just seemed bigger, more atheletic and determined.

Hope our supporters turn up for the ressies and stop the moaning posts.

North were slight favourites, its why we lost! We were up to 8 or 9 in a row as underdog but when we're favourites, we're hopeless!

For those in Sydney, wasn't it the royal exhibition hotel that showed it last year?
