Yes unfortunately some players are unable to bridge the gap.
Excellant SANFL player but no good at the next level

His disposal seems to let Him down often, apart from that, always appear to have plenty of time & has silky smooth skills.

Good use of the oxymoronic phrase here Centurion.

On Symes, was he played out of position (as a wingman, half back flanker etc) during his AFL games rather than as an extractor of the ball in which he generally seemed to have not much problem with? Always thought he had potential to fill these spots where pin point kicking disposal is not an absolute necessity.
